I own the same car ( Select Sport ) in Ceramic Metallic. By the way, engines and transmissions are built and assembled in the the Hiroshima plant in Japan, the rest is built in Mexico.
I've been a Toyota/Honda driver for the last 30 years or so. In January of 2024 I bought my first Mazda 3 sedan with the preferred package. It's a great car. The performance is more than adequate, it's neither too slow or too fast (is there such a thing?) The steering feels heavier than any of my previous cars and it's taking me a while to get used to it but I'd rather have heavy steering than light (like Lexus). The only complaint I have so far is the audio system, it's not as powerful as I'd like. Comfort, style, safety, mileage...this car ticks all the boxes.
Am a Toyota owner for 40 years (two Toyota Corollas). Want a car with a auto trans instead of a cvt. Thanks for your comment. Very informative. Enjoy your ride.
It doesn't matter. Mazda's quality control and assembly process is the same regardless of plant location. Are you insinuating Mexicans aren't capable of assembling a quality automobile?
Yep, that is exactly what I’m saying. I had a VW Jetta in 2001 made in Mexico and it was in the shop 5 times before the warranty ran out so I traded it and went to Honda for 25 years. I

No it doesn’t thankfully ! 😅 the main reason I don’t want to get the Honda civic is because of that feature. I’m glad the Mazda 3 doesn’t have it, although you do always have to disengage the E-parking brake every time you start the Mazda. It always automatically turns on whenever you drive the car, so before driving you’ll always need to turn it off but I’d much prefer that over turning off the auto On/off button in the civic lol!
Start/stop technology isn’t necessary thing. And yes when I bought my 2020 Mazda 3 it took some getting use to as far as the automatic parking break goes. I’ve had mine since July 2020 and have enjoyed it on many levels.
Suggestion: During the test drive, IF we could see the entire windshield, i.e. THE DRIVER'S VIEW, unobscured by the host's talking head, it would give viewers a far more accurate feel for how the car feels and drives.
I bought a 24 carbon edition turbo for my lot these cars are under rated the base sound system sounds great n the 2 tone swade interior was very nice its a sand type color very different n the standard features n quality pretty good for a compact car
I bought a 2024 Mazda 3 Preferred Premium package and I paid $25,500 + tax, about $28K out the door. The Corolla I traded in was more expensive than the Mazda, and the Mazda's a better car.
It's great to see a Mazda 3 sedan review. 99 % reviews are of the hatchback.
I agree, Although this has more rear leg and trunk room i’d still pick the hatch for its aesthetic design.

@Saboda53 I'm trying to decide between the sedan and the hatch but I can't come to a decision.

Right out of the gate the paint colors alone makes Mazda stand out!
Thank you for confirming 0-60. It was hard to find on internet as everyone only talk about turbo.
That’s a really beautiful car! Thanks for posting! ✌🏻✌🏻
Now this is my only Mazda sedan to afford.
Great review, as always. Thanks.
I have had my 2021 Mazda 3 Turbo Premium plus since 2020 I love it.
I have been running one since this model 1st came out. 5+ years... I love it
Amazing review bro.
Appreciate it!

Is ceramic metallic a silver color or white?
I have 2020 Mazda 3 Premium and absolutely love it! So many things about the car I love and the many compliments that have come along with it.

As a cheap but not "cheap" commuter car car that I do 600miles a week in just to go back and forth to work in its ideal
600 miles a week? How far is your work? Geez
@jumbomuffin1316 I do 62 miles 1 way to work everyday my 04 corolla has about 390000 miles on it now bought it 10 years ago with 60000 on it
It's a good car except the gas, tank is way too small

How to know the one made in Japan am interested in that make
is that rattle the camera? (i hope)
is the screen not touch even when conected to a phone?
The sedan built in Mexico is why I went with the HB. Unfortunately, the CX 30 is made in Mexico also. Mazda 3 HB comes out of Japan 🇯🇵!
