It looks like a neutral profile in GoPro, which is good. Sound is quite well protected from wind contamination, which is also not so easy. But using 24 fps with an action camera capable of 60-that's truly beyond my understanding. Yesterday, we biked to the Botanic Garden and slightly beyond, which made close to 60 miles/100km roundtrip from UIC/Little Italy. It was quite windy to go there up North. But I did not take my GoPro.
24fps is for a more cinematic look and a slower shutter speed so we get a nice motion blur. The motion blur is easier on the compression algorithm too.
Really well done, love the ambient sound especially. I can't find the Feiyu WG2X anywhere, such a handy gimbal. Are you using a fixed shutter speed to preserve the motion blur or just auto with an ND? Not sure if you're already using it or need it but the GoPro Labs firmware allows you to change the file size to 12GB. May help with any discontinuity using ReelSteady on a sequence of clips. Also lets you a set a maximum shutter angle, handy for stabilizing low light without the gimbal.
Thank you Arnis! Yes, the WG2X is hard to come by these days, and I suspect they're not making any more of them. I really should get another one as backup, since I haven't come across another gimbal quite like it. I'm using a fixed shutter speed, usually fixed ISO at 100 (unless I think the trail will have tons of shade), and an ND filter. Thank you for bringing up GoPro Labs! I haven't explored it yet, so I'll have to take a look at it.
