Been waiting for this on my shaman :P. Been using a totem build for a while but looking to transition to avalanche at some point.
I didn't play Le yet this cycle! New job, few spare hours to play sadly for my gamer part but, you know what? I will start with this build! I always want to try a shaman. Thank you for the video

Wow I’m a shaman now only lvl 27 I was torn between picking masteries but shaman totems just seemed broken (it hasn’t disappointed so far just playing it blind with knowledge I’ve gotten from your vids about the game in general and my previous experience in game with the mechanics)

Ive found that you might not even need to press maelstrom if you get your warcry cooldown low enough, plus you can get the node that gives it a chance cast again while on cooldown when you crit. You just hold down warcry or num pad it and it autogenerates enough maelstrom stacks that i find myself never casting maelstrom. Investing in cdr also buff the spriggan swap playstyle cause you can get in and out faster.
Didnt try spriggan for a long time now, but i got 450 mana atm, and tried it, and now it works a lot better, last time i tried i probably had 230 mana or so, and then it didnt felt worth it at all.

Am I doing something wrong to make the loot filter work? doesn't seem to be doing much, or do i need to copy it from the buildplanner?
I really think you need to explain the Stormcaller proc of Gathering Storm. I don't understand how "granting storm stacks" procs things like Thunderous Strikes being phys pen in Gathering Storm tree.
Nice build, I might use that Spriggan Form tech for the Mana. However, it is absolutely possible to play Avalanche without it, for exemple with Gathering Storm as a Mana generator.
after playing this build i found myself asking is there a full spriggan build. I think its a fun form

How are you casting Gathering Storm or are you speccing into it just to make storm stacks stronger? Some of the nodes just say "when you cast Gathering Storm"
The Stormcaller node in Avalanche, on the bottom, I was confused about that too :p
@@tomoliop i really dont understand this as it only says "chance to grant storm stack". So then in Gathering Storm tree Thunderous Strike says "Gathering Storm penetrates ..." (become Phys pen through conversion that i get) so how does the phy pen and other nodes in Gathering Storm apply. I don't understand this interaction at all.

When do you transition to Avalanche after leveling with totems?
i did it after lagoon, when joined trade guild and I buyed for starting 3 set for avalanche, now Im on transition for crafted gear lvl 83 I killed 2/10 harbri atm

the ward on bosses feels bad man
i feel like the point of having to grind to 300+ corruption multiple times for the harbingers is kind of awkward. End game bosses are not designed to be all grinded and completed within the first day of gameplay. Its understandable that it feels bad when you are trying to worlds first it but idk if i agree beyond that just yet.
I like this cycle because of it. Wudi grinded for 32 hours straight, was level 96 and got to the last boss with 35% health and then died :(
