Can we permanently turn off the screensaver. I would rather have the camera playing while I’m driving.
The ‘lights’ are infrared they don’t actually light up inside the car as you say... and the blurring of the headlights at night was simply a dirty lens. Clean the lens and test again
Cameras can pick up infrared light. The infrared light reflects off the windshield back into the camera, therefore, absolutely useless for a dashcam purpose. I cleaned the lens, but maybe the lens flares at night are an isolated issue.
the red cable is for what?
Cannot get the rear camera to work at all. Even with the in car charger.
What about parking mode?
I have the s800 dash cam, what settings do you put in to keep the camera working throughout the journey, mine switches off after a few minutes
Do you have it plugged into your car's cigarette lighter? Does it have adequate power from the charging adapter/is adapter working properly? This dashcam is meant to always be plugged in. It can only operate on battery power for a very short duration (e.g., emergency recording).
How did you get the orskey to rear cam to record?? I cant get it to record

Have you plugged in the dashcam using the supplied cord? Or are you using your own cord/charger? I found that it only works with the supplied charger.
Neither of these are good. I have the Yi Ultra and it's great in everything except video quality. I got it via a promotion but I regret it.

I recently bought Orskey S800 Dashcam and initially the rear camera was showing on the left corner on the view. But after I connect the red cable to the reverse light on the car, the view of the rear camera does not show again on the screen.
Please let me know how I can get the rear view on the screen.

I don’t understand what you mean about powering the rear camera. How do you power the rear camera to make it record? The red wire is only for reversing, correct?
Yes, red is only to activate reversing. But you need to use the specific, supplied power cord. You cannot use the 2 port chargers that you may have. Therefore if you have only one charging port in your car, you cannot charge another device if you want to to record the rear camera.

Are the lights not infrared?
They are not infrared, but simple LED lights.

Yes the lights are infrared LEDs
They are infrared, but video cameras can pick up infrared light. The infrared lights end up reflecting off the windshield back into the camera recording. If you need the lights on, there can be no gap between the camera and the windshield or you will get the reflection.
How do you keep the mount to the screen
It's a suction cup and the camera screws onto it.
Why go through all that then fail to show how you set it up. Waste of time

the battery is for emergencies only. power comes from the car. you need to hardwire for parking mode 24/7.
