Police say the longtime drug addict and alcoholic shot herself and her dog. This just weeks after her fiance? died on that same porch of an apparent suicide. I am sickened. Why did they interview this jerk - who beat her to a pulp and tried to choke her and was charged with attempted murder? And this creep ends up getting custody of his son. Sick!

shame on this show for interviewing this man. This was the guy who tried to murder her and who beat her for years. He says she was "troubled", yes and it is his fault. He should not be allowed to speak on her behalf.
I know I’m 10 yrs late with commenting on this but I 💯 agree with you. This man had beaten her so horribly bad and it’s shocking to me that anyone would have him on there show 😡.

@@tyoung521Agree! Also the host doesn't even bother to ask McKnight anything about the fact that he was convicted of beating up Mindy and did jail time for it. The judge in that case said that Mindy was fortunate to be alive after the beating.
He should have talked in depth about why he almost beat Mindy to death and how experiences like that could create hopelessness in someone as fragile as Mindy Mcready. What a one sided crock he spews. He should ask Mindy's and God's forgiveness for being such a brutal bastard and contributing to the mounting sorrows that eventually became too much for Mindy.
Instead of blaming the late Mindy M, why not blame the parents who raised her and apparently abused her in her childhood?These scars last a lifetime. May she finally RIP now.

Coming from the guy who smashed her head through a wall...The fame made her "arrogant"really? I never knew her personally,but if anything, I think she couldn't handle the fame and it made her reclusive. I watched an interview in which, Mindy accused this man of abusing her. For that reason alone, he does not make a credible witness to her character. "Two" suicide attempts does not equate to the dramatic, "repeatedly" in the video. How close in time were those attempts? Was there a underlying reason, such as insufferable abuse, at the time(s)? How many years passed following those two attempts until her death? Social media court to influence public opinion or belief. RIP mindy, and may your loved ones find peace in the beautiful memories of you.

I knew when her boyfriend committed suicide it was just a matter of time but I didn't think it would be so soon but I guess it makes sense because she was devastated. A rational person would think of their children and I'm sure she did but her depression overtook her beyond reason to the rest of us. Suicide is so tragic, so permanent and devastating to those left behind. I pray for her children. I wish she had held on, but we can never know the despair she was feeling.

Nothing has come close to the heartache, though I also lost both parents, two beloved nieces,, and brother in laws I was close to. What Mindy witnessed was extremely traumatic. Her's were words of grief, not contemplated suicide.

Terry , I don't know that anyone should have been pointing fingers , as in the old post above. But I do wonder how Mindy could have accessed the "same Glock pistol " that killed her fiancee, David, only weeks before her death. The fiancee's death was still under investigation at the time of Mindy's death. Wouldn't the pistol have been collected as evidence in his death? Even if the pistol had been released so quickly, Mindy had a felony record , and a history of drug abuse, suicide attempts, mental instability, ect. So why would that pistol have been turned over to her? Reportedly, Mindy's Father and step-mother had been staying with her from around February 7th until hours before her death. During that time her Father had called CPS, Mindy's sons were removed and placed in foster care, ect. Also reportedly, when Mindy's deceased body was discovered - hours after her Father had left - her home was "filthy", with, "dog feces everywhere ", and rotting food left out, ect. Should readers believe that her Father stayed with her in such conditions? Left his daughter in such conditions, believing she could be trusted alone? If Mindy's functioning was that affected by the traumatic loss of her fiancee, surely her loved ones would have called in professional cleaners to assist her, or tackle the task themselves. Collectively, the media did some job of making Mindy, and those who were supposed to be close to her, out as monsters.
I will NEVER believe she committed suicide!!! I've watched her last video and many others and from everything she had said, she was always hopeful that she would get her children back. I didn't know her but, she wanted her children and DID NOT want them to be in the care of her abusive mother. I have never seen an interview where she expressed hopelessness! I believe she was murdered!
Elaine Wright i think she killed herself. She could not deal with her boyfriend's suicide and her children were taken away from her again.. Just don't think she was capable of handling it anymore. Sad

But they are equally entitled to their beliefs, based on as much as anyone in the public has been told via social media. I also have doubts about whether two like deaths, the victims being lovers, and both occurring on the same porch, we're suicides. I have deep compassion for their loved ones. Mindy's "TWO" suicide attempts, some 5 years before her death, we're hyped up by media. Mindy herself, dismissed the severity of them in comparison to her actual mental outlook on life, once she had escaped her abuser. Watch HER interviews on the matter.
Strange thing about her boyfriends suicide was the fact she wasn't even for sure if he really did kill himself and she was the only one there at the house at that time... how they hell she not know that? She said she "thinks" he killed himself in a interview. Wth? So did he do it?... she do it?... or someone else do it then left? The entire story doesn't add up, too many holes in it. I seen a comment once that claimed both were killed by someone else. Him first, then her later for fear of her spilling the truth, all done over drug money they owed... ??? Was she hiding something when she stated she didn't know if he killed himself or not?

There are always two sides to a story, strangely enough the person doesn't have the issue seems to be the martyr and tell a one sided story to prevent disclosing any past wrong doing. If her ex was concerned about Mindy and his child, why didn't he provide more support and try to get the help Mindy needed. When one sided stories are disclosed there is something sinister in that story. He is now worried about his song being in foster care and has to hear the terrible news of his mother passing. Mindy had issue that many of us perhaps don't fully know everything about, therefor we shouldn't muddy the story of what was true or false. The reporter also seemed to be asking leading question. Personally, I love Mindy and her songs and believe with some caring she could overcome those dark demons. RIP Mindy.

Well ~look up Billy McKnight and I think it may shed some light on the reason why their son is in foster care instead of with his father, Billy! And Jane's apparently, in my opinion, not done her homework on this dude! Unless, of course, there's another part of this interview of him stating what a violent past he had with Mindy, that I've not seen yet!

this interview was good. having billy on and his opinion which to be fair I thought was honest and truthful about mindys mental state. dean caine said exactly the same thing. she was a handful and every man walked away from her. but straight after they cut billy off up went the pics of her in hospital after he bashed her.
