Every time I hear these guys I feel nothing will ever be so good. It´s sad. It is not just a matter of technique, not just talent, they were something else, they play the deep truth, no acting, only special people can make so special music.
My first ever gig was Mike Stern in 1997 at The Barbican in London and his guitar playing absolutely blew me away, i got to see a couple of more times, once in 2008 and in 2018, they were both unbelievable shows and i also got to meet him as well, a real nice guy too
We are blessed to have experienced the beauty of a master on saxophone, i will always be forever greatful for what he has contributed- also what an amazing band
There will never be another moment like this one. And there will be never and ever someone like Michael Brecker. Proud to met hi, proud to talk with him, proud to vocalized with him in a Perugia's street, on some steps, in a hot julay afternoon. ♥

Such a beautiful melody! My favorite song from the Modern Times album.
beautiful, ballad with a very young Mike Stern
Dear Michael we miss you!!!!
andrea dichiara I miss him terribly. My father was a friend of him and he used to visit us some times. But I was too young back then....
Lorenz Müller wowwwwwww
Extraordinary interpretation. Mike Mainieri is an unbelievable artist!
Mike Stern's playing here on this track is so haunting and soulful that it really tugs on your heart strings. What an unbeliveable player!!!
Saw him play about 10 years ago with his band (a small, 250-seat venue). Not only a great player but a heck of a nice down-to-earth guy.
