Hello, thank you. I measured the speed again. The Handa motor should be sufficient. With a 4 HP engine, the weight would have to be taken into account. The original mirror would no longer be stable enough. For the floor I used an OSB panel made of two parts. ► ua-cam.com/video/XOFiRwGv--c/v-deo.html If the two parts are well adjusted, they will not move and are very stable. The floor weighs an additional 12 kg.
Hi Juliane, Many thanks, the engine is a short shaft with 2.3 hp. A maximum of 3 hp are approved for the Intex. More is not to be recommended, because the motor mirror would not endure much more.

Hello, I have a short shaft Honda engine. The short shaft is enough for the Mariner 4. The motor mirror can certainly hold a larger motor, but the attachment to the boat will certainly not be able to cope with this for a long time. I hope I could help you.

Why ? For leisure it is sufficient. I have spent more than 50 hours on the water and everything is fine with the boat. If you treat the bottom properly everything is fine. Of course there are better boats. This is enough for me.

Did you put the hard floor over top of the hard floor that came with the boat? Or did you discard the floor that came with?
The original floor is still below. That gives a better stability.

With the additional soil it is more stable when fishing. You can stand much better and walk. The boat is also more stable overall.

Stay away from Intex. Buy Aquaparx or another PVC boat instead.
Why ? For leisure it is sufficient. I have spent more than 50 hours on the water and everything is fine with the boat. If you treat the bottom properly everything is fine. Of course there are better boats. This is enough for me.

@@adammagistri Beim Aufbau am Strand auf Steine achten und auf wenig Kontakt mit dem Boden. Das Boot sehr Robust. Für die Freizeit ausreichend. Wie oft willst Du es benutzen ?
