- My first time putting the new boat in the water. I've done a few customizations: Wood flooring, wood table, rear deck, swivel chairs, and custom PVC dolly. Also have Garmin Striker 4cv fish finder. There will be more mods coming.......!
In this first outing, I decided to transport everything in my smallest vehicle, 1999 Maxima, instead of the Expedition SUV. Reason? If all goes well with the car, then SUV shouldn't be an issue. This was my first boat launch experience.....learned some things I will do differently next time.
I'll update this Description area later with more details about the build, mistakes I made, lessons learned, etc.....

yahh, I wanted to try in my smallest vehicle just to see if it could be done. When I drive my Ford Expedition, no probs fitting everything.

Yep I forgot. That was my first time on the water. After 10 more times out, I have the process figured out now.

Just got mine today. That is a ton of work to boat. My setup would be the minimum. Wondering what your thoughts of putting wheel on the bow permanently? No little pvc trailer needed
You can use a telescopic aluminium ladder whit wheels to transport . Safe the space...
Or you can use the handle and drag it. It has a strip on the keel for that reason. This guy made a lot of work where there was none.
Seems like a lot of trouble. You look tired already and haven't even gotten in the boat.

I noticed that you didn't inflate the keel, is that right?
It was my first time taking the boat out. Forgot all about the keel. I kept wondering why it wouldn’t track in a straight direction. After a few trips to the lake, I eventually got everything figured out and made some of the other processes more efficient and effective.

Why not wheel everything to the water and then set up the boat?
It was my fist time........things have gotten a lot more efficient after 10 + times out...

I want to buy same mariner 4 with 2.5 HP Suzuki motor. Will the HP suffice for moderate speed for atleast two persons ... ? Please advice...
Yes
Sure will. I have an Evinrude 9.9 on mine. Thing is pretty fast. A 2.5 is plenty but I had my motor from before.
Did you have to register your boat?
Yes. Had to register with the state of Georgia.

Dude sure made a project out of that launch. I kick mine out of my truck into the water and pull it to shore with a rope. Hop right in and go. This is shit for the birds.
