"Luis Conte" and "Jimmy Branly" Historic Session "MEINL" Percussion Part 3

Hello everyone,
This is the third part of a historic session we recorded with master percussionists Luis Conte and Jimmy Branly on May 2014 at Jimmy's studio in Burbank, CA.
There are a lot of magic moments in these videos. There is also a lot of good sense of humor and above all, great musicianship and plenty of chops.
In this video the exploration of rhythm starts with a cha-cha but soon it's taken somewhere else, including a rumba abierta.

Jed Juarez, you must be young. In the days of 45 rpm records that was the insert you placed in the hole of the record so they could play on the slender pin on a record player if you didn't have the regular adapter that fit over it for the 45's holes. It's not a symbol.
