I know right!? It’s just the variance of video poker in general. I went panning for gold and the riverbed was empty. But when the Quads & Straight Flushes go crazy, there’s usually a Royal some where in the mix. And that’s my long term goal, hitting that Big Royal and catching it on video for all to see. Thank you, Michelle, for commenting and subscribing to my channel.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Thank you so much for subscribing. And yes I’m fortunate to have such a great group of guys to hang around and play video poker with them. We have a blast every time we meet in Vegas.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Greetings from Torrance! Hi John! Wow, this was true Bonus Poker. The 3 of a kinds and straights were hitting like mad, but the flushes (the dreaded flushes) just wouldn't hit. I have been thru that more times than I can count. Out of a dozen potential flushes, maybe one will hit for me. I loved your explanation at 13:09 about holding a suited ace with a suited face card. This is a great example of "The better play" This wasn't necessarily a bad session, just more of a real session that people have to be aware of. Everyone watching your videos want to see a BIG WIN, but this is just part of the process. You have taught me to see the big picture and to keep good notes. Thank you sir!
Thank you, Paul. I can tell by your comments that you’re familiar with the variant landscapes of video poker. You also know, that sometimes (but very rarely) that the flushes go on a crazy run & hit (while the straights) are no where to be found!😂However, when the Gods of Fortuna are with us (even more rarely), that, sometimes, all the bottom of the pay table hands are hitting (one after the other), along with all the, Quads & Bonus Quads, and perhaps, even a Royal Flush, tops it all off, to make it a really special and bizarre video poker run. I just hope, that one day, I can capture “lightening in a bottle” on video for all to see. I do know, however, that the Royals are coming, and THAT, I will capture on film! Greetings to your Mom and family. Thank you again for your friendship and support to my channel.😁🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
You should meet, Ma Kittle, in person. She is quite the trooper to be able to keep up with us! She rode all over downtown in her scooter casino-hopping with us and didn’t miss a beat. I was totally impressed with her and I also complimented her on how well she raised her son, Jeremy. She certainly does have “Star Power” just like her son!♥️🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
@@johnsworldofvideopoker I believe Jeremy and Ma are coming to Atlantic city, possibly in June! I absolutely adore the dynamic duo! I cannot wait to meet up and do some gambling! If you ever decide to come out this way let us know!
Thank you, Suzie! Slotmassacre & I are great friends and he encouraged me to start my own channel. Since we hang out playing video poker all the time I have a lot of pictures of him & I used it on this Thumbnail. You’re in John’s World right now!😁🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Thank you, Jules. That music can be found in the iMovie App for Apple users. It’s in the movie trailers under the category of Romance. It doesn’t give credit to who composed the score, but it was very well done. It’s proprietary music for those who use the iMovie App.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
I’m not a fast player compared to those with much quicker minds than mine. But in terms of watching a video, it’s less stress and strain when video poker is played at a leisurely pace. All my future videos will be played at a slower pace for ease of viewing. Thank you for your viewership and comments.🌎
I know what it’s like. Some properties I go to just never seem to hit. , and then again, other properties do. I’ve only hit 2 Royal Flushes ar Red Rock; 1 for $4,000 and 1 for $8,000. Good luck, I’m sure they’re coming your way! Thanks for watching and commenting.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
After the 1st 2Aces came out, there was only a 1 in 44 (or 2%) chance that I might have. But what about 4 Kings? Letting go of the King means that there’s zero chance of hitting 4 Kings. And holding 1 Ace gave me a 1 in 178,365 shot at hitting the Royal. Holding the proper cards is the best long term strategy for hitting Royals. Anything can happen in the short time, like hitting 3 Royals in 3 hours in one night off a single $100 Bill for $114,000. See my video featuring the $100,000 Royal Flush!😉🌎
@@johnsworldofvideopoker That's a good strategy for royals sure, but for quads you just have to take the chance. I'm no odds or strategy expert but I've played enough VP and seen countless times if I had held a single 2 over high cards I may have gotten quads because trips came. I stuck with triple double bonus when I was actively playing.
@Mike Hunt My friends, Slotmassacre & Curtis, are avid TDB players. But the game is too volatile (feast or famine) for my taste to have it as my "go to" game. That being said, there are uses for both, DDB & TDB, (under specific & limited circumstances) where I know "when and how" to exploit the volatile games to my advantage during certain types of sessions. And you're right, one could play a different sort of strategy that places emphasis on (and favors) Quads, and there is some merit in exploring that. However, my success with the games has been built upon bankroll management, and near perfect strategy; (although lately I have gotten very sloppy in my play). Those things alone, allow a well-practiced Bonus Poker player, to collect a lot of Royals over a sustained period of time. So, that has been my entire focus on the game up until the present time. I can't say exactly when the Royals are going to hit, I only that they ARE going to hit. So therefore, my entire focus has been "to manage" being in the "right place”, at the “right time" (i.e. on high denomination coin) when the Royals make their appearance. Royals are the ONLY thing that I visualize and think about. Ironically, I DON'T "play for the Royals", I'm just "there" to catch them when they land. My focus right now is on "catching" the $40,000, $80,000, and $200,000 Royals. And I know exactly how to do that. It's merely just a matter of time now. And it is my goal to "capture them on video". When I do, they'll be Royals number 38, 39, & 40.😁🙌🙌🌎
~ John, at the 13:33 mark, even though your cards were in sequence (as opposed to not), why would you hold all four, as it’s not open-ended? Not tryna’ be annoying, just wanting to learn from the best …😃
I believe it’s because there are 16 cards (out of the 47 remaining) that would give you either a JoB win or a straight for a win, which has a 34% chance of occurring. Holding the A-Q or the K-J (as 2 to the Royals) is a 1 in 16,215 long shot for either one. The JoB possibilities or the straights are a safer bet. And you could never be an annoyance to me!😁🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

It's crazy how hard it is to hit 4 of a kind on bonus poker! Another great video John!

No doubt about it. Speed kills. Even in a casino! I have to be more mindful of that especially because a player’s error rate goes up because of it.😁🌎
