Looking forward to the next videos John! I like how you also show your mistakes, every single one of us make them. All we can really do is hope to keep them to an absolute minimum.
Greetings from Torrance! Hi John! Another awesome session. I love how you are not afraid to jump from the machine when it starts to get cold. I notice that sometimes people will try to battle it out with the same machine and end up with nothing. I'm convinced that the worst thing that happens is not recognizing when the machine is HOT and not increasing your bets. It's a wasted moment. My last Royal was 2k, but I am convinced, by playing with your methods, I will be in a better position to hit a 4k Royal or a high paying 4 of a kind. You have absolutely changed how I play the game. Thanks again and wishing you and your wife the best!!!
I am most definitely sure that you’ll be hitting bigger Royals in the future, or at least have some really good run combinations (SF, 2,3,4’s, & Aces) at higher denominations that equate to the same. When you get up on them, “Press it” by going higher denomination, you’ll have some great wins because of it! Thanks, Paul. I’ll see you again sometime.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
I appreciate your honesty and thought process. When we make mistakes it is important not to go into "tilt" mode. I have and I tend to make more mistakes. When I find myself starting down that road I leave the machine and go do something else, usually a good percentage table game or a nice meal.
You're so right about the bad sessions. When I have one, I'm done with the game for a while (and sometimes that can be months at a time) although laying off for a day, a week, or a month will usually do. I think that is the sign of a seasoned player; being able to "walk away" from the game & enjoy all the other amenities found in a casino or in Las Vegas: the pool, the Spa, the shows, the restaurants, a side trip to Red Rock Canyon, etc. etc. I love it all. I've been in a lull for the last 6 months (even though I've hit a $4,000 Royal & $10,000 on 4 Aces), along with many smaller hand pays, in that time period). Ironically, now that I'm on UA-cam, I hardly play at all because I'm always posting videos of my last visit to Vegas. Something has to change!!!😂🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Good for you. Practice, Practice, Practice on a simulator that “warns on mistakes. I just toured 15 casinos from Vegas to Laughlin to New Mexico to Oklahoma while visiting friends in Texas. I also got some equipment upgrades to aid in making better videos more quickly. I have a lot of exciting content scheduled for the rest of the year. I may start out a little slow for now (and at lower stakes) but it should build-up to a higher level within the next 90 days and maintain that level for the rest of the year. Thanks for watching, Teresita.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Thank you, Cody. Over the years, as I meet and get to know other players, I found out that everyone has their preferred “go to” game. Slotmassacre and Curtis are committed TDB players. Bigkats likes multi-line games, for others, it may be DDB, etc. Obviously, I’m a die-hard BP player and it is absolutely my “go to game”! So if I were mentoring someone to be a video poker player, I would train them all to be 8/5 Bonus Poker players and to have it as their “home-base” from which to branch out from. It is easy to learn, it has low volatility, and your bankroll requirements are low compared to the other games. I’m not adverse to the other games, in fact, I like BPD & DDB. And as I hit my goals in BP, I will branch out to those other “thrill-based” games. The challenge to most players is that they started out on DDB (like I did initially) and it becomes their “permanent” “go to” game. It’s very hard for them to leave DDB for BP. They have “Thrill Withdrawal Syndrome”. But if they played BP like I do and up their coin denominations (as they get better) they would start hitting a lot of Royals. (And eventually for big money). So your switch to BP doesn’t have to be permanent, but I think you should completely commit to the game for 6 months and get your “thrills” from hitting Royals by getting very solid in the game so that playing a higher coin denomination scores you even bigger & bigger Royals. That is what a lot of the (Non BP) players miss out on. They think that BP is “boring” relative to their DDB or TDB. What they’re missing is that once you’re “good” (3-6 months from now), you can play at a higher denomination because of your game skill & discipline that comes from the “grind” of BP. Then once, you’ve hit tons of Royals on successively bigger coin denominations, you’ll forget all about those other games that require so much more bankroll than BP. Those other players never get to play the Big Coin machines with those games, so they’re missing out. Make sure you practice on a simulator that “warns on mistakes” so that you get “sloppy near-perfect” strategy down. That’s enough to beat BP at ANY coin denomination that you choose. Let that thrill drive your mastery of BP and you’ll be on your way. Please keep me posted on how it goes. And reach out to me at anytime!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Thank you. It’s coming easier to me now, although it’s a little “stilted” at times. Eventually, I’ll relax and become more comfortable in just “being me” and have more fun and better results with it. Thank you for your encouraging words!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Thank you for watching. Hopefully, you stick to near perfect strategy as we all should. I was a little frustrated with the bad cards coming out so I tried to “kink” the session with a wild stab at “wrong-way play”. That being said though, there are times when “gambling” works!🤣🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Thank you, Todd. As I get this down, I’ll be releasing videos more frequently, perhaps 3X per week. Eventually, I will be releasing them on a daily basis. Thank you for your viewership.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
John, I'm convinced the lights over some of the machines are purposely put there to steal a few hands from people. Just like the max coin bet button is right next to the deal button. Who knows how many hands are misplayed or how many people hit the max button in a single day. Casinos use strategies such as the ugly carpet makes your eyes look up more then down, making the casino very hard to navigate on purpose, pumping oxygen into the air to keep you awake and of course the oldest one in the book, no clocks will ever be found in a casino. With all that said, I'll see you at the casino!!😁
I wouldn't put it past them!😂They grind us with the edge and we grind them back on Bonus Poker! I enjoyed your comments. Keep them coming! Thank you, Terry!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
I try to never deviate from perfect strategy. If the flush fills in with one of the two missing royal cards then I always wonder if the fifth one was coming. It actually messes with me mentally. KQJ suited is also not a royal draw I would do this on. Maybe on AK10 or AQ10 with a fourth flush card I’ll do it. But I understand where you are coming from. Love your videos. Keep it up.
You’re right about everything you just stated, especially on the specific card combinations. “Wrong-way play” is NOT the way to go at all, but I was annoyed with how many bad combinations that I was getting that I tried to “kink” the session!😂 Whenever we deviate from perfect strategy (especially knowingly doing it), we are truly “gambling” at that point. And oddly enough, video poker is “almost” NOT gambling if one gets really good at low volatility games, has an adequate bankroll, and happens to be on a good run. But whatever happens on a session, (even when I’m wrong or make a dumb play), I’m going to show it anyway and explain my thoughts for the benefit of others. For years I played with total devotion to near-perfect strategy and found that to be the holy grail of video poker. Thank you for making a very valid and accurate point.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Thank you, Kevin. I’ll be releasing more videos with more frequency as time goes on. I’m getting more comfortable in my own skin now. Thank you for commenting.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
I really enjoy your channel. I especially like all your game playing tips. In watching video poker on youtube, seems like Double-Double Bonus Poker is overrepresented. After watching your channel, I feel better about playing Bonus Poker or Jacks or Better.
You’re right about DDB. It’s overrepresented in the casino in fact. The casino really doesn’t want people to play JoB or BP because they’ll win more. So they “lure” them away with a lot of banks of DDB. And it’s not a “bad” game. I can’t wait to explore it more deeply than I have in the past. But make no mistake; 9/6 JoB & 8/5 BP is “where the money is”! (Especially at high denomination coin).🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
🤣🤣🤣Thank you, Wendi! You’re so funny! And….I decided to re-watch that video because of you. Since I spend a lot of time editing each video, I’ve seen them over & over again during the creative process. So… once they’re released, I rarely watch them again, as I’m already moving on to the next new video where the process repeats. This time, you made me reflect on where I was at a specific time and place. I can see that my videos have evolved over time and that certain minor improvements have worked their way into them for the better. I now realize that I have grown a little and have come a long way. At the same time, I recognize too, that I have a long way to go yet, but my vision for my videos has expanded quite a bit from what it was before. I can actually see the path that my future videos are going to take much more clearly now, and what’s more; I better understand exactly how I’ll take them there. I already have a vision for the technical skills I have acquired and how to raise the bar on them to take this channel to the next level. It’s going to require more equipment beyond just an iPhone, but I’m very excited about what the future holds because I now have better control on how to do this. The next 90-180 days is a pivotal moment for the channel, as many different disciplines in the “art” of making videos (if I can call it “art”) will come together to make a more engaging and seamless product. So, thank you, Wendi, for cheering me on, (even audibly so😂). Your positive waves are encouraging and influencing my work. In some universal way, we are connected. So part of this work is yours. Thank you, Wendi!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
@@johnsworldofvideopoker ~ Darn awesome, John! I only follow a handful of you guys. To be honest with you, I get annoyed easily, so I find myself “unfollowing” people quite often; that includes many different genres. 🤭 I’ll let you know, I am an introvert & a homebody, so this social media avenue of communication is good for me. It lets me “socialize,” without leaving the comfort of my home; my safe place. I really do enjoy your content, & look forward to your future videos. I’m enjoying our interaction, as well. 😃
Thank you, Wendi. You’re well spoken and a good writer. I think you’ve surmised by now that I’m a writer too. I’ve been introverted, as well, and I have read a lot of books over the years. But when it comes to something that I’m very interested in or something that I’m very passionate about, I’m not shy at all. Reading, writing, guitar, piano, foreign languages, golf, movies, video poker, making videos, football, my pool, bodysurfing in the ocean, travel, perhaps, one day, fishing, when somebody teaches me!😂 Thank you for your pleasant conversation and for liking of my videos.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
@@johnsworldofvideopoker ~ You? Introverted?!? That surprises me, John! You’re interests are vast & wholesome…Great ways to spend your time, for sure. Yes, we will fish someday. I hope to get my own bass boat someday; my dream purchase. In a couple of months, you get to go with your buds & catch multiple species…You lucky dog! It’s my pleasure to be one of your subscribers. 😊
Thank you for your viewership and your friendship, Wendi. And, yes, living a simple and uncomplicated life is better, in the long run, for me. I’ll be in Vegas at the end of this month and then I’m headed straight to Texas to hit the casinos in neighboring Oklahoma with Curtis. Then, Slotmassacre & I, may head back to Texas in mid-May for another rendezvous with Curtis for a double-dose of casino/fishing fun. I’m relying on somebody to get me up to speed on the world of bass fishing. It’s something I’ve never done, and I’d like to learn something new. I enjoy learning from people who are passionate about what they do! Perhaps, one day, we’ll get to fish too.😁🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Another superb video with lots to learn from. This is like taking a class! (most fun class ever) I’ve watched it several times. You touch on many things I have questions on. It starts picking up a bit around the 13 min mark, to where you kick it up around 16 min. Lately I’ve been wondering, how much is enough to up the coin? You hit FH, trip 5s, a straight, etc, and things seem to start rolling. I guess I’m trying to learn not to let it go TOO far without upping the coin to take advantage. Second, on your RF draw explanation, I struggle with why 190 in 1000 isn’t better than 1 in 1081? Because of the potential outcome? Based on this strategy, “perfect play” is more about the highest win possible rather than “most likely” win to keep you playing, although it won’t hit as often. It’s that “what if” factor. (and 4000 is a whole bunch more that 40. Lol) Had that “down streak” myself the last couple days, with “no love” from the cards. But it will come back around and when it gets back to Aces and SFs, I’ll be winning. Excellent, excellent vid. Thank you!
Thank you for liking my videos, I appreciate that! As for when to coin-up (?) that depends on inspiration or desperation. (Lol) Usually if the game is very steady at the bottom of the pay table hitting: JoB's frequently, 2 pairs frequently, and a fair share of trips, straights, flushes, and full houses, then it is to your advantage to coin-up & keep coining-up (as long as it keeps steady) because, ultimately, a good Quad will come along (& if that's at a high denomination), you'll be glad that you kept coining-up. And you never know, if the Royal suddenly hits, (and you're on the highest coin denomination possible for that machine), you might very well come away with a huge win for yourself. On the desperation side of things, if nothing is happening for quite a while, sometimes I'll coin-up out of desperation because I need a bigger hit to salvage a poor session. It's risky though because usually you're down in the bankroll & it may just "evaporate" before your very eyes. But it's also that much sweeter if something good hits because you get to start all over again by being close to your original bankroll size that you began with. My 'wrong-way" was just that: not the correct way to do it. That was also out of desperation because nothing was hitting. I recommend instead to stick with near perfect play. Thank you for bringing up some valid points.
Unlucky streak is an understatement, wow. I think its a Red Rock thing. The glare is very annoying at some of these places. Aliante and Binnions come to mind as pretty bad
That was a dry run alright. But they happen. And then again, sometimes the machines go crazy and hit everything under the sun multiple times in a 1 or 2 hour session. I hit $10,000 later that night at Caesars Palace (on a very underfunded bankroll), so those 4 Aces on a $25 coin machine turned the whole day around. Naturally, I prefer to have good to great sessions all the time, but (as we all know) it just doesn’t happen that way.😆 Either way, good or bad, I’m going to “show” what really happens. It’s the game we’ve chosen to play. The good news is that it can all change in a blink of an eye and I expect to show some phenomenally great wins too when they come around. Hopefully, sooner than later! Take care my friend.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
I would have not hung in that long without a quad. There are too many machines in a casino. Glad you got those jacks. I have been playing Deuces Bonus lately, hit 4 sets of deuces + ace. My local doesn't have $2 sadly so $1 was it. GOOD LUCK and can't wait to see MORE.
Thank you, Janis. I actually jumped around quite a bit, as you’ll see in my Red Rock series, as we go along. I’ll be releasing videos a little more frequently now that I’m getting more comfortable with the process. I would learn a lot by watching you play, I’m sure!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
@@johnsworldofvideopoker I still work and I am 70+. I have worked with numbers and ratios all my life. I think my playing goes off the rails seeing patterns. I stop holding repetitive meaningless pairs and single faces. Yeah, not perfect strategy. Ever get e.g. a pair of 8s and nothing more over and over?
@@janis.T You sure are fun to talk to about video poker! And I love that you're a "numbers" person (ratios, percentages, and the odds). Your track record with Royal Flushes is quite impressive too! Keep up the greatness in your play, Janis!!!
@@johnsworldofvideopoker You and I share a real love for the game. I do not have anyone to bounce off with here. Odd but no one in my circle gambles and they live in Vegas too. Hi Gooch. I seem to be getting that reputation. But I’m no match for smarter players than me. (And there are many out there). Bob Dancer, is truly a “professor” of video poker in the academic realm. The information in his books are without parallel. I need to re-read them to tighten-up my game. Thank you for your kind words and for appreciating my work.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Great video John. Again, thank you for showing the ups/downs of playing video poker. I tend to stay at a machine longer giving it more time for things to improve, I may be staying too long based on this. Just curious, for regular slot machines, the casinos adjust the payback percentage for their needs. In the case of Video Poker, would you know is there any such adjustment the casinos could do, or is the one change they could do would be to change to pay table for the machine, if they audited it and found it was paying out more than they like?
You're right about giving the machine time to show itself as "friend" or "foe" in a session (and I usually do that) especially at lower denominations. But in this case, I was already pushing the "envelope" by being overly aggressive by jumping into a higher denomination too soon and expecting that maybe I'd be fortunate enough to get some quick early hits. But virtually nothing good was coming out of those first few machines so I quickly got off of them. I was already down 50% of a $5,000 bankroll in the 1st 30 minutes! If a machine is in a cold cycle at high denomination, I don't ride it out to the bottom. You can hop around a bank or carousel of machines and quickly find a better paying one. (i.e. a machine that just happens to be on a positive run). The “pay table” is all that the casino needs (along with error-prone players) to make its profit. The probabilities of the “pay table” guarantees the long term profit & the “unskilled players” guarantee the short term profit to the casino. That's why constant practice on a simulator that "warns on mistakes" is so crucial for the player (if he/she wants to "survive" the built-in edge) that the casino has from its pay tables. There is no need whatsoever, on the part of the casino, to "adjust" a game. They can change the "pay table" to a poorer paying one by making a 9/5 pay table on JoB (instead of a 9/6 pay table or by converting an 8/5 BP pay table into a 7/5 or into a 6/5 pay table and let the probability math do its job for them. There are 2,598,960 possible hands in video poker. 1,429,428 hands favor the "house" and the other 1,169,532 hands favor the "player". The random number generator (RNG) just constantly shuffles the cards & randomly spits them out. Long term, the house has the advantage. In the short term, however, the RNG could randomly just happen to be dealing out great hands. So if you're on a machine that's just crazy good on the hands coming out, then please go up in denomination (even multiple denominations higher) to take advantage of the "short term" good run. You'll make good money on it, and if the Royal Flush shows-up up, you could walk away with a crazy good jackpot!
Hi, Paul, so nice to hear from you. I’ll be branching out to other games once I hit my next goal with 8/5 Bonus Poker, which is another, $8,000, $20,000, or $40,000 Royal Flush. Otherwise, the volatility of those games could potentially wipe-out my fragile bankroll. But after a really Big Win, sure, I’d love to hit the more entertaining and thrilling games. I do so appreciate your faithful and continued comments on JWOVP. Thank you so much, Paul.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Hi John, thanks for another great video! Since the draw cards are constantly shuffling in the background until you hit the draw button, the outcome of the draw cards would be different, since the timing would be different by just holding the Ace and not the two deuces.
The one thing I find so amazing about the RNG is that, the constant shuffling is so fast that the “right cards” (the ones the player needs) are “always there” & are “always NOT there”. So yes timing is “everything” and it’s also “nothing” at the same time. I find that fact, so amusing. That the cards you want are always “there” & “NOT there” almost simultaneously, thousands of times per second. It boggles the mind!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
@@johnsworldofvideopoker Yeah, the RNG shuffles the cards hundreds of times a second. A fraction of a second can change the outcome of the RNG. It's all about timing!
Exactly. Several times last night I waited an extra few seconds during the SF draws or RF draws or whatever. Saying to myself, "Hit the button now? How bout now? No....NOW!" 🤣
You're so right on that one and I apologize for it. In one of my other videos, I specifically address this issue. In fact, it's in the title of the video! This was my very 1st outing using a tripod in a casino and I didn't realize that I was playing too fast at the time. (Even with a tiny tripod sitting literally right over top of sticky buttons to boot) Also, the session was 2.5 hours long, so I'm afraid we're stuck with the "speeding in the casino" issue until this Red Rock series is over (since it's already been filmed). In any newly recorded videos, I will have the speed on the lowest setting. Plus, playing too fast in a casino adds up to a lot more errors and that is never a good thing. I don't like playing fast to begin with. And there are many faster players than I am. It's not enjoyable to watch when it gets too fast. Thank you for pointing that out, and you can rest assured that when I start a new series of videos, it'll be at a more appropriate speed.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
I knew something happened in that moment, but I didn’t know what it was. The glare from the overhead lights to the camera (and the glare to my eye) are at 2 different angles. But small lapses like that can make the difference in winning & losing. It happens! 🤷🏻♂️Not to worry though, I won $10,000 off of a 4 Aces hit on a $25 coin machine at Caesars Palace later that night.😎🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
@@johnsworldofvideopoker You should've asked for a manager or casino host and explained to them about that glare! That's not fair. They should have to give you something. I feel sorry for you on that one
Had I focused a little more, I would have caught the mistake before it happened. However, it’s like that in many cases on the old slant top machines. If they put the newer vertical machines in that area that would solve the problem all together. Still, I do like playing the older slant top machines. But when there’s a bad glare like that, it would behoove me to be more careful under those conditions. Later that night I hit $10,000 at Caesars on a $25 coin machine by hitting 4 Aces. It’s all good!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
"Ahead in the count"...like you're counting? I think you missed there, like you're an AP on a BJ shoe. Assuming you just mean 'since you're getting bleeded' by variance you're gambling and it has nothing to do with any count.
Correct you are! It’s just a mis-use of a gambling term or, in my case, it could be a broadening of the definition for “use in video poker” in a different context. And I mean nothing by it. But as a video poker player, what’s important to me, is to be “up in the count” with my bankroll and playing with “house-money” (as long as possible) so that the Royal Flush is actually obtained by using house-money alone on a given session. Since 1-3 individual bankrolls may be needed in a session; it is possible and probable that “to be down in the count” would signify that one bankroll has already been “lost” (or rather, is on “deposit” in the machine) and the player is actually on their 2nd bankroll (but playing at a higher denomination) in order that they may “withdraw the 1st deposit” (retrieve the lost bankroll) only to be “back to even”, and thus, start all over again in an effort to be “up in the count” (playing with house-money) over a series of individual bankrolls to hit a Royal Flush without having used any of the player’s own money to secure the win. I know it sounds like gibberish, and it probably is, but you’re totally right, I am misappropriating a term here and coining my own terms for use in video poker. As silly as it all sounds, what I’m doing here works, more often than not, and has made me a lot of money. There’s no guarantee of course, but it has been effective in my experience, at my skill level. I have to find some words to use to describe what I’m doing. No offense is meant here. I don’t even play Blackjack or bother to take an interest in any of the other games in a casino (such as Bingo or Keno for example). My exclusive focus is video poker. When I go to a casino all I see are video poker machines.😁🌎
@@johnsworldofvideopoker Yeah I get it. That's what I assumed you meant. Just saying your session is up or positive is less confusing. As far as your strategy I'm sure everyone appreciates your experience and honesty with your detailed descriptions. I am surprised about your results with this method. Your history of utilizing this strategy to success is likely not the norm, nor is hitting two Royals within hours of eachother...so, I'd assume that it works until it doesnt. Cheers!
Yes you’re right just saying I’m up or down in the session is a better way to say it and to be more clear. As for my method, I truly realize it is aberrational, as is Slotmassacre’s but it is truly where we are after 10+ years each. And it was 3 Royals in 3 hours on 3 different machines in 2 different casinos! Likewise Cheers!😝🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Playing a low volatility game such as 9/6 JoB or 8/5 BP, (along with practice on a simulator that “warns on mistakes”) will help improve your long term odds against the House. For those of you who engage in such “practice” you’ll find the following long term probabilities when it comes to holding a pair: On “average” (holding a pair) will convert into: 2 pairs:………………….every 6X held 3 of a kind:…………….every 9X held Full House:…………….every 98X held Quads:……………………every 360X held Something better:…..every 4.8X held The hit frequency in 8/5 Bonus Poker is: 1 in 2.2X If the House ALWAYS won there would be no casinos. Good luck comes more frequently to those who practice and apply what they’ve learned to the game.🌎
Looking forward to the next videos John! I like how you also show your mistakes, every single one of us make them. All we can really do is hope to keep them to an absolute minimum.

Love your videos- have started playing bonus poker as a result

Great video John. Educational. Only this time I'm enjoying class.
Thank you for being on time for class!
Thanks John! I always learn something from your Vlogs! Thanks. Ron.
Thanks John for sharing your thoughts, time and effort. Be well and much luck!!
Strategy my ass. You have to be lucky by hitting the draw button at the right time.
Both near perfect strategy & luck combine to give the player the best long term probable outcome. Practice makes “near perfect” sense!😁🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Nice job John. Nice hit. Nice comeback.

~ Nice quad jacks, John! It’s funny how I find myself rooting for you, out loud. 😅

Lol)
Had that “down streak” myself the last couple days, with “no love” from the cards.
Have you ever considered playing Super Triple Play? I've had some success with these. Cheers!
I ponder this as well. Interesting take on it, John.
No....NOW!" 🤣
@@JBlinky67 LOL! I have done the same
Why are you playing so fast? Not enjoyable when you are flying through each hand so quickly.
Thank you for pointing that out, and you can rest assured that when I start a new series of videos, it'll be at a more appropriate speed.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
that's terrible, you would've had four 2's on that draw 😐
I knew something happened in that moment, but I didn’t know what it was. The glare from the overhead lights to the camera (and the glare to my eye) are at 2 different angles. But small lapses like that can make the difference in winning & losing. It happens! 🤷🏻♂️Not to worry though, I won $10,000 off of a 4 Aces hit on a $25 coin machine at Caesars Palace later that night.😎🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
@@johnsworldofvideopoker 👍🙂
😁🥊
What annoys me is always holding the pair and fails EVERY TIME! Video Poker is not fun at all. All gambling is not fun at all. The House ALWAYS wins.
Playing a low volatility game such as 9/6 JoB or 8/5 BP, (along with practice on a simulator that “warns on mistakes”) will help improve your long term odds against the House. For those of you who engage in such “practice” you’ll find the following long term probabilities when it comes to holding a pair:
On “average” (holding a pair) will convert into:
2 pairs:………………….every 6X held
3 of a kind:…………….every 9X held
Full House:…………….every 98X held
Quads:……………………every 360X held
Something better:…..every 4.8X held
The hit frequency in 8/5 Bonus Poker is:
1 in 2.2X
If the House ALWAYS won there would be no casinos. Good luck comes more frequently to those who practice and apply what they’ve learned to the game.🌎
Why do you keep talking
Come to think about it, that was a rather wordy intro. There will be less of that in the future. Thank you for your comment albeit brief as it was.😁🌎
