The Palms has better pay tables outside the high limit area, and the Palms gives you better comps than the Stations casinos do nowadays. I do like Durango though very much. The bar tops in the high limit table game area of Palace Station feature good pay tables and it’s a nice environment. Yes, good idea on slowing down, I got carried away playing next to my friends who are speed demons on video poker. Yep! Missed your videos John! Put in $2k at my local MGM property this week. Planned at staying ay $2 coin, following your 1,000 coin rule. However after a few full houses moved up to $5 coin and eventually even $10 coin. Needless to say it ate my bankroll pretty quick. Got down to $465 and then on $10 coin hit 4 aces for $4k! Only my second handpay but definitely my biggest. Dropped down to $5 coin then hit quad 2s for another $1k! Should have cashed out then, only being down $500 total, and of course u gave more back after that smh. But still left up about $2200 for the day. Just gotta be more disciplined to leave after a big hit like that. The machine isn’t going to keep giving me quads!
Great Job, hanging in there. Yes, once a big hit occurs, I talk myself into scaling down to the 50¢ coin denomination to conserve the win. Then if I hit Quads, Bonus Quads, or Aces, I coin-up again to $1 and $2 coin denominations. The $5 coin denomination can wreak havoc on your bankroll very quickly, but if it stays relatively even, I’ll stay on it. You’ll develop instincts on “when it turns” and learn how to hit and run as you gain more experience. Be careful though!😉🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

I actually picked this up from you a few years back! Very minor error in the grand scheme of things. The Kh should be the hold vs Kh 10h with another matched suited card 4h. I believe this is only on K 10. Q 10 w/ another suited card is OK. Good luck!
