8th Generation 2006-2011 Honda Civic Coupe: Can you do a video on the subject of buying a new block, rods, head, etc. Vs. going the JDM used engine swap? The JDM's need some alterations due to the Japan salvage from Honda vehicles. Also, we never know the true mileage of those engines. I think this is a much needed video. Thank you.

Waleed Mahmoud it won’t be cheap as the engine and transmission are highly desirable. You can get more power for less with a K24 swap and a turbo, but it won’t get all the cool point for being rare like a K20C1.

Yes it fits size wise. I'm not sure if you can do a straight swap though. Some of the mount holes for the engine mounts may be in different locations and the subframe mount may be different too.
I would want to get a kit to fit into an EP2 (same parts as in EU), own an EU8 myself with D16V1. Will there be kits for that kind of swap aswell? Planning to own the car for some time, thinking with the idea of K20C1 in it.. It would have the same issue with the relay box... wonder how I could get the driveshafts and suspension + brakes from the new one to fit.. Not to mention the ECU. Would love the idea of old meets new.

We put it in a 2001 Civic and it is basically the same chassis. The RSX has slightly more room in front. It fits.

It will fit with some slight modification to the engine bay. We haven’t made mounts
yet for that chassis.

It fits pretty good with the J-series engine, so I suspect it will be fine with the K.

It bolts right in with stock Type R engine mounts. The wiring would be another issue. I'd suggest using the Accord K20C.
