So is this the exact "Let It Be" movie from 1970? If so it made The Beatles appear to be absolutely miserable during this process. I'm hoping this has more footage to show a more complete version of them together.

Every time I hear Let It Be or Hey Jude I cry because The Beatles were my dad’s favorite band. My dad passed away 6 years ago from cancer. Those 2 songs were his favorite songs

I lost 2 dearly loved relatives in horrific circumstances and for many years i tried to kill the unending pain with drink and drugs, but i was only hurting the loved one i had left so i eventually got clean and started playing my Beatles albums again and some songs made me cry, but it was helping me and i know how powerful music can be. And seeing Disney releasing the let it be documentary will probably inspire others to push their musical boundries just like the beatles.

The two sides of those fans got what they wanted, the Get Back doc and the Let it Be. No need to argue with anyone, "Love is all you need."

Yes! I personally can't wait for the remastered performances of Two of Us, Take 19 of The Long and Winding Road, and Take 27B/28 of Let It Be recorded on January 31st, 1969! The most disappointing thing about Get Back was the fact that these performances were either shortened or omitted altogether.
That was intentional. Because we all know that the restored version of the Original Let It Be will see the light of day and it will be redundant if we saw it in Get Back.

As a somewhat younger Beatles fan I am super excited for this as I know it and Get Back are complementary, but I have only been able to see Get Back since I haven't been able to find a VHS copy of Let it Be. Can't wait to watch it!!

I’m 22 now and I would not be a single fraction of the man I am today if it wasn’t for these men that I consider my blood brothers. I cried my eyes out while watching this. They single handedly made the world a better place to live in… all without a single self-indulgent bone in them Until the end of my life and beyond, I will live with more gratitude than anyone can possibly begin to fathom. There are so many parts of this series that I enjoyed! It was great to see them being playful with each other, to watch Paul in the Get Back song creation, how Billy brought some life to their playing and of course the rooftop concert. I've seen this documentary a few times and I'm sure I'll see it a few more! Great stuff!
Me too; pity it wasn't re-released on the silver screen as ot first appeared in 1970. Once again, many of us will have to hope & pray & wait for its eventual release on blu-ray as happened with Get Back.

My 6 yr old granddaughter knows the words to many of their songs! It makes me tear up when I hear her. I was and still am a Beatlemaniac at 75.

I think the idea was to have the movie presented later without any content overlap between the two.That way,both could be watched,one after another.

I’m 22 now and I would not be a single fraction of the man I am today if it wasn’t for these men that I consider my blood brothers. I cried my eyes out while watching this. They single handedly made the world a better place to live in… all without a single self-indulgent bone in them
Until the end of my life and beyond, I will live with more gratitude than anyone can possibly begin to fathom. They made my life worth living

There are so many parts of this series that I enjoyed! It was great to see them being playful with each other, to watch Paul in the Get Back song creation, how Billy brought some life to their playing and of course the rooftop concert. I've seen this documentary a few times and I'm sure I'll see it a few more! Great stuff!

Me too; pity it wasn't re-released on the silver screen as ot first appeared in 1970. Once again, many of us will have to hope & pray & wait for its eventual release on blu-ray as happened with Get Back.
