I like that you play simple and hold the chords. It helps me understand the harmonic relationships. I can figure out other inversions at a future point. Excellent tip about outside & inside voices. Nice work. I like your teaching style Thanks!

OMG it's priceless. You give alot more than what you intend everytime. Thanks so much. We're learning and I definitely do not take it for granted.
This video is amazing. The way you break down complex things makes us beginners/intermediates suddenly comprehend in a more accessible way the process of building complex harmony. Great work.

Hello Sir. So good... I hear your passion for instruction. Gift from God. I'm a straight chord (3 note) guy playing melody with right hand. Mostly old Baptist hymns. But now I attend a predominantly black church and head many guys playing thesd progressions effortlessly.. like they were born with a progression instinct. So.. I want to learn. Thats for helping me in the journey to learn something new, and add to my style of playing. Grateful for theory thoughts.

If you need him to name every single note of the chord then it’s probably better to slow down and learn your chords first. Once you understand how to make different chords in all keys with different chord qualities (major, minor, diminished, augmented, etc) then you can come back to videos like this and you’ll get so much more knowledge out of it!
Absolutely amazing, thank you. For some reason, I can not think of one song that has that run in it. Can you give some examples? I am at an intermediate level, and so I need a song to apply it to to make sure my rhythm is correct. I know I've heard it a million times but can't think of one song
❤ enjoyed every minute of the video on my way from beginner to intermediate level, can you make a video on runs, link how best to use the sustain pedal and on jazz 😊😊 think you in advance sir.
Thank you for these amazing tutorials! Question: at 12:05, that chromatic motion leading down to the V chord, is that intentional, or is it more of just you taking chances and going with your gut?
Been watching your videos.. for a while now sir. I really appreciate your efforts sir.. especially on we beginners .. but I need serious help on how to improve on playing other keys just like the way I play on my Cmajor.. am stuck 🤦 .. I need a guide or some videos to guide me through the process on really improving on the piano..
I think that is a great suggestion. I do have two ideas to help you with transposing. 1) Learn your major scales and primary chords (1, 4, and 5) in every key. 2) Whatever songs you have to learn, learn them in the original key. So if you have to learn a song for Sunday morning, learn it in the original key. Do not transpose. This will help you learn every other key...
