The scale thing is so big. I went mostly carnivore for the last 2 months & everyone says that I look like I’ve lost weight. I didn’t think I did but my clothes were loose on me. Decided to weigh myself & realized I lost 8 lbs. Well, 2 wks later, I weighed myself & saw I gained 4 lbs 😮& it ruined my day. I didnt look any different & my clothes still fit the same. It goes to show that women fluctuates quite a bit day to day. I am no longer going to weigh myself. I know I feel better, stronger and leaner. Throw the scale away!
Omg. Three years ago I had a trainer that had me weight training 5 times a week and cardio twice a week, she removed fruit from my diet and had me on very low carbs. Sure, my results were 10 inches off my body but after two months of this, I crashed, I consistently let her know I didnt feel well, so all she did was increase my protein and tell me to drink more water. I gave up and quit. Packed on 10 pounds right after, got a shoulder injury (actually going for MRI today), and just ended up walking everyday. Im just now picking up light weights again. Because of my shoulder I have not been able to lift much. Thank you for this!!!
Omggg Sal! Yall mind pump guys are amazing if you haven’t seen them you have to check them out. I have learned so much about strength training and how it affects hormones. Thank you so much Cynthia I love how a lot of the people that I am following are connecting and doing joint interviews. I am 55 and feeling better than I did in my 40s! Strength training, and a little bit of progesterone go long way lol❤
I am definitely a 'self hater' and am currently doing everything that you outlined as detrimental to my health and success. Such a great eyeopener for me and it is so true. Going to do some more research and giving Sal a follow. Thank you.
Hello. Great video! Hi, How much muscle do you think a 60 year old women could gain in 1 year? One who lifts weights consistently and eats plenty of healthy food (above her maintenance calories etc....) and protein and is doing everything right. Just a rough estimate or range would be great. I know there are a lot of variables but hoping you could give me a rough range. Thank you! (Not on any kind of hormones or artificial anything etc....) And not interested in being a body builder.....would just like to put on maybe 8 or so pounds to be stronger and healthy. I'm not sure if this is your area of expertise.
Thank you for the SCALE NIGHTMARE talk! Diabetes 2...two years..no meds..IF strength training...running and keo/carnivore AC1 down to 5...wear size small feel great but obsessed with scale. Im getting rid of it today!!!❤
I witnessed my beloved mother become depressed after she weighed herself. Absolutely she suffered and was haunted by her weight. I spot check my weight often putting it out of my home
working 4 days a week intensely is optimal for women wanting to put on the most muscle, they should also eat in a small caloric surplus to gain weight and strength
