Keeping up with current trends and strategies can help traders stay ahead of the curve and make informed decisions, It is important for beginners in trading and investing to understand that success in these fields requires technical analysis, emotional maturity, and self-discipline. Thanks to Jane Nina Pickett’s insights, daily trade signals, and my dedication to learning, I've been increasing my daily earnings. Kudos to the journey ahead!

Anthony, I've been subscribed to your channel since last fall and I must have have missed the fact that you won your division of the 2023 US investing championship. Congrats man, also you have more street cred than anyone else on UA-cam that I'm aware of.

Thanks Caleb. I do not talk about the US investing championship wins or ranking on purpose. There is a lot of things not factored into it. Such as risk sharpe ratio size of account draw down etc. I did it more for fun. The street cred is what I am interested in because that is the actionable stuff. Its why I post that account , the live trades and the timestamps. I am glad you find it useful . We ride at dawn tomorrow!

    Trading summer 24.
Some basics so traders and investors don't get hurt.
    1. DXY: Fed holding but all other central banks are cutting and Japan is staying at zero. This makes the dollar index stronger. This is bearish for the following sectors: XLB, XLI, XLF, IYT, XLE. Also bearish for IWM.
    2. Treasury bonds: are being aggressiveky bought. This makes the TLT higher and the TNX (yield on 20+ yr Treasury) lower. This is bullish for XLK, XLC and XLY, for QQQ and SPY.
    3. Geopolitical tensions with upcoming US elections, WW3 preparations and Fraxit vote on 6/30/24. I call it Fraxit because it follows the same playbook as Brexit and will lead to the same volatility on a lower degree. This is bearish on international companies and big financial institutions.
The combination of higher DXY and lower TNX is rare and indicates geopolitical tension, but VIX doesn't go up until SPY drops.
Sharp unexpected drops can happen, but will quickly be fixed because markets are not allowed to have a major correction till the elections.

Im not sure the top is in yet, but Im willing to bet the bottom will see us go back to April or October lows. Can you make money on the way up still? Sure, but I think the risks are elevating rapidly. When it turns into an elevator down it will be rapid. If the top is in October lows might still be above the bottom, but I think it will be the bottom. If we still got a bit more up I think April lows will be the bottom.
    My biggest concerns:
market breadth has narrowed and speculation is rampant on the few super stocks. When people exit those stocks to buy opportunities elsewhere it will plunge rapidly.
geopolitics is going to provide us with several gut check moments over the next decade. If any happen during a fragile moment it will be hard on the markets. Events may result in equity repricing down over and over as things happen.
Oil bottom is in. When it rallies in a sustained way we will see issues. I think that will come to a head in the Fall for a variety of reasons.
Rate drops are eventually coming to the US. When it happens foreign capital flight may start up.
Climate change is clearly happening and will result in increased costs and reduced productivity in many sectors plus additional costs for consumers. I think there is money to be made here and a lot of money to be lost. It will also make poorer countries more desperate leading to additional emigration and more geopolitical issues as wars occur to prop up political leaders. All of that still needs to be priced in.
Political uncertainty is going to continue until domestically until the gop decides they want to work with mainstream democrats to build our country rather than destroy it. When that happens I expect the mainstream democrats will more or less ditch the extreme left. Until that happens we are to see the US more fractious.

The NVDA chart seems to be on the way to going exponential. I am interested in the effect of call options. Do you think call options can drive the market up in a self-perpetuating way? Can they drive a melt-up in stocks like Nvidia by themselves (by forcing institutional covering which encourages more call option buying etc), or is it essential to have a lot of continued buying of the stock by other players as well?

3 times makes a trend, 4th time usually manipulates and screws you the other way. If you look at the weeks where the TNX closed below the 55, this is actually the 4th time. Each of the other 3 times have produced an immediate bounce and the last 3 times have probably psychologically conditioned people to look for that bounce and either short bonds and stocks, or whatever that play is. this time should have follow through on TNX fall to the downside. It may not necessarily be immediate as it would be ultimate manipulation to have it bounce a little but then produce follow through. What i'm seeing on stocks is actually something like a 2 day decline followed by a huge rip which would give you the illusion - the top is in lets all short and everybody gets squeezed once again.
I anticipate the dip on Tuesday to be bought wed we are off and I see a Gap Up Thursday out of nowhere.
