I tried this today with a TSLA call and a SPY call. TSLA call was my first attempt. That trade didn’t work out. Lost but barely lost anything. However the spy call I was up 70% at one point. Waited for the cross and sold. Didn’t make too much but made out good considering. I’m going to try this strat going forward. Could up being a BIG game changer for me. Thank you!

Great advice!! Right now, since it is summertime and I'm a newbie, I have sized down in order to create habits of rule following and perfecting entries and exits. Once I see that I am habitually doing everything right and having consistent green days, then I will start to size up. Today I failed to look at the MACD. Well I'm glad you posted this today because I may have found a way to improve the MacD by combining it with the Mac.
I left the macd alone but the Mac I changed upper to yellow, lower to blue and offset my lower to match the crossover from the macd.
If anyone with more experience than me can look at this and tell me your thoughts that would be epic

Really enjoyed this tutorial. I have been using M A C - D for a while now and it has really helped me. Knowing when it crosses over is a good indicator, whether to enter the trade or pause and wait. In fact I honestly believe M A C - D and the volume bars are actually sufficient, for all your trades and because of that, you probably could get away with not using emulated or simple moving averages, although I still do. Maybe I give it a try one day in my demo account! of course, don’t want to be taken chances with a live account and see what occurs. I also think to many indicators are not needed, three max would definitely suffice I honestly believe. So another great tutorial from ross here and as always, take it all in and prepare for the next one, after all, they are better than anything else your ever see on you tube.

Rather than sit with strife to be mad at myself, due the continued vigorous effort in creative evolution (macd overlay!) to really dig deep to help us; i need, check that, I am going to color within the lines of the book, the one called blueprint. So that i help myself to engage action in discipline and bike like you ski by watching the path and not the trees. Our brains are better primed for action through inference as opposed to deduction.
I've learned more in this video than any other material on day trading I've ever seen

Appreciate all trader's that share. So thank you. For many years now, I have used the 5 sm,a 15 sma, 39 ema and 200 ema. Try to keep it as simple as possible. Lot's of false B/O's and B/D'S. Must give it time and usually 3-4-5 attempts for the actual, profitable, 5 crossing the 15 then the 39. Personal preference developed over the last 34 years. I also have small, reasonable, achievable goals. In/out in/out....
I really appreciate the extra insight offered in his videos. He breaks down the technical aspects in a very understandable way which is awesome... and then always goes a little further and gives a nugget of wisdom that other traders don't really do. Like nit focusing on how much to make per day I needed to hear that because that has been at the forefront of my mind this whole week as I got my butt kicked on the market. Thanks boss for the education, and wisdom there. I appreciate you!!
