We make something similar to this in India and call it kheer. It is a very common dessert... We make it with whole milk, rice and sugar with flavours like cardamom, saffron or rose water and through in nuts and raisins and it is yumm... This is also amazing recipe.
Tryed recipe today tastes great. Had hard time finding short grain rice so used long grain. Would have liked it a little thicker but it was good. First time making rice pudding thank you🎉
@@enokicha2670 Sorry for the delay! Here goes the recipe for dulce de leche, rice with milk is the same as Anna presents in this video. Dulce de leche's recipe: -Milk 1 litre -Sugar 250 grams -1/2 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate -Vanilla extract In a saucepan, pour the milk and heat it without it boiling. Once the heated milk, add the sugar and the vanilla extract. Break boil and add the baking soda. It is important to stir it so that the sugar does not stick to the bottom of the pan. Lower the heat and put a saucepan in the saucepan (the sauce will have the same effect as if you were constantly stirring the milk with a wooden spoon). Cook on moderate heat for 1hs-1 1 / 2hs, checking regularly that the milk is not burning. At that point the milk must have taken a dark color, the typical "dulce de leche" color. Once that time has passed, take the saucepan out of the saucepan, and continue cooking with a wooden spoon. Incessantly stir in the form of "8" until achieving the desired consistency. To check if the dulce de leche is ready, put a little of the preparation on a plate and let it cool for a few seconds. Once the dulce de leche ready, pack in a previously sterilized bottle. 1L of milk yields 1 / 2kg of dulce de leche This is the recipe to do it in the traditional way as it is always done here in Argentina, but I also write a recipe to do it in a quick and practical way: - 1 can of condensed milk - Pressure cooker (if the condensed milk container has a paper label, it must be sawn so that it does not cover the valve of the pressure cooker) Place the can of condensed milk in the pot and put water until it covers 1 centimeter can, cover the pot, put at a high temperature and once it starts to steam out the valve then cook for 40 minutes. Once the time has passed let the pot cool down and take out the can or container. Once the can is opened, move the dulce de leche with a fork and store it in a glass jar and then keep it in the refrigerator. NOTE: I clarify that I can understand English when someone speaks or when it is written, but I can not speak or write myself, I translated the recipes with Google Translate, if you have any doubt about what to write please let me know so I can write more accurately ! I hope you serve the recipes and that you like them! Greetings from Argentina!! : P :)
we called it payes in bangladesh by tha way we dnt use vanilla in this recipe we use pure milk, sunned rice, white suger/ brown suger, cinnamon and cardamom
Instead of vanilla try flavouring by saffron and cardmom skip the whipped cream and add pistachios and cashews crushed or flaked and a bit more liquid then see the change and skip the water in the boiling process

Modern Phirni 😜😜 cuz Kheer/Payaasam is usually made more soupy style that we drink them as well as we use a Spoon to eat them but where as “Phirni” is more of a Set Pudding/dessert .. I love Phirni 😋😋 With Almonds, Saffron (Most of the time with Rose water) and pistachios and Kish Mish
Safeena javeed here, on Peru, we call it "Arroz con leche", our difference is that we use a stick of cinnamon and we not whole milk but evaporaded milk, just like so
