UA-cam recommended this video and it felt like a gust of fresh air! I'm turning 30 in 2024 and if I had watched more videos like this when I was younger I would have saved a lot of money. It's so easy to spend in things just because everyone is getting them, but we have to sit down and really assess what does and what doesn't make sense for who you are and the moment you're going through. Btw, I'm from Brazil and the eyelash extensions craze was wild here, girls getting lashes that looked like literal fans above their eyes 😂
ahahaha we need to get in the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" mindset because we all have water bottles and don't need a new perfume! also i love the fan comparison🤣
i saw a video about the stanley, i think it was by future proof, and he mentioned how it's inability to be put in a backpack cupholder as well as how you need to hold it upright and in front of you is actually intentional. its so people can see that you have the stanley cup, you cant tuck it away, you need to have it front in center wherever you go if you're going to use it. i think thats really interesting, im not sure if he's right about it, but thats definitely a contributing factor
@@karinaburtonnn its more like showing off i guess? people dont really care if they're great or not, its more about look i have this brand name cup you know
The Stanley cup thing made me very happy to be totally un-fashionable!! I still have water bottles that I bought when I was in sixth form college ten years ago, and I just use them. I will say that a lot of folks with disabilities found the Stanley cup very helpful, so hopefully the cups will keep going in some capacity to stay available for them.
@@karinaburtonnn oh same- it's not spillproof so I'd be too scared to use it around my computer equipment or on my pale coloured rugs. I'm too clumsy for leaky cups haha
I got the Glow Recipe toner as my free birthday gift from Sephora and you're absolutely right, it's goopy and kinda feels gross on your skin. Luckily I haven't had any horrible breakouts, but it's not something I would ever get again
I didnt fall for the stanley cup but instead their flip straw! it’s sooo much better its only 30oz it fits in cupholders and has its handle at the top!!
I feel like a major problem with the Stanley cup is that people forget that they already HAVE coffee-to-go-cups, thermos jugs & comparable at home but they're just not "cute and trendy enough". It serves no new purpose.
Automatically clicking the like button because a Stanley cup was in the thumbnail. The craze over them is so impecablly ridiculous.
no i don't understand how people are so obsessed with an overpriced cup

I've bought a 2 dollar glass bottle and it's served me better than any impractical expensive ones. Bottle fashion is such a weird thing to exist.
ahaha i love the term bottle fashion! you are so right
Right!!! ?? I don’t understand the hype….
Most of these things I didn’t buy either and I’m glad someone else feels the same 😂
i think everyone is buying too much of what we don't need recently

like a constant ad? i totally get that, but it takes away functionality for branding

i like the accessibility aspect! it's just not a bottle made for me especially because i'm really picky with water bottles

What a refreshing video! Thank you for this. Definitely going to check out the rest of your channel after this one :)
awe thank you so much!
“you’re chewing the candy forever” is sending me😂😂😂😂😂😂 enjoyed the video!
thank you so much!!
I am from Germany and loved watching this video ❤
Awesome! Thank you so much for watching!!
honestly, for the glow recipe toner you are just paying for the packaging it looks pretty but my friend got it and said it rlly doesn't work that well
yeah i love glow recipe as a brand but what really gets people is the aesthetic colored glass packaging
I found this video very insightful, I agree with all your points! I hope your channel grows 🤍
Thank you so much!!!!

Exactly!! i like the thin water like toners better
I didnt fall for the stanley cup but instead their flip straw! it’s sooo much better its only 30oz it fits in cupholders and has its handle at the top!!
i'm glad they make more than just the big one bc the small ones are cuter
I love my Stanley I’m glad I have it! Plus it’s cute
does it ever get tiring to hold?
Thank you #SaveSoil #Consciousplanet

You are so right! people already own water bottles and don't need more or new ones
Sad that press ons are trendy because I mastered the glue on nail game during COVID and they're like, double the price now.
yeah i see their benefits but ive just decided to grow out my own nails because i can't be spending the money on them
Those perfumes aren’t anything to die for. They literally smell like something from Victoria secret and bath and body works.
yeah a lot of things are just too overpriced for the quality nowadays
I love your channel 🫶🫶
thank youuu!!!
I never bought a cup that is more than 20-15$ you only need one why spend 50$ ON A CUP
literally!!! and why do people need multiple???
Not a fan of hydroflasks. The tops crack and the company is extremely unethical behind the scenes. I would buy support and buy something else.
i didn't know i will look into that
@@karinaburtonnn To find the internal stuff is difficult. NDAs and all that.
I love how fast paced this is🫶🏼
thank you!!
