this is my favorite series i started filming a few years ago, so i decided to try a new version! in this video, i shopped for high-end self care products from brands like drunk elephant, glow recipe. olaplex, the ordinary, and more!

Does anyone else say "I'm going to get some self care stuff today," and then when you get back and look at what you bought, only like 10% is actual self care and the rest is colorful things to wear or hang on the wall? You should also try the Sol de Janeiro leave in conditioner spray!! It smells amazing like the orange one and can also be used as a heat protectant when you straighten your hair :)))

one thing i LOVE LOVE LOVE about sephora is that they give you options on your birthday gifts rather where in ulta it's whatever it is for the month, plus sephora has amazing products! i love sol de jenero and im so grateful i have a sephora by my house

zhirelle if you want to get a really good strainer get the instyler one there’s a brush on both sides it curls and straightens ur hair it’s the best I’ve had it since I was 12 I love it

clarifying shampoos dont help combat heat damage, what they do is remove product buildup from your hair, primarily your scalp. They are stripping however, thats why you dont use them often. the shampoo should be paired w a conditioning mask and hair oils

just an FYI, take this for what it's worth, but clarifying shampoos are meant to break down product build-up, NOT "reset" your hair. the OlaPlex shampoo/conditioner is more geared for bonding and rebuilding your hair shaft, if you're dealing with damage or if you've been using excessive heat. clarifying shampoos are much more "stripping" of your hair, so if it's already fragile and damaged from heat, you might consider going for a product that's meant to actually repair your hair.
i don't mean to sound like a know-it-all, my mom is a professional hair dresser so i grew up hearing the do's and don't of haircase and just wanted to pass along the info!
