@@555bigmoe no i wouldn’t say hard the only thing hard about it is if you’re not used to standing for long periods of time that will take some getting used to cause your feet and legs will hurt at first but as the more you do it your body gets used to it…at my plant there is no nobody standing over you rushing you but they do expect you to work though i work in the flats sorting section which is sorting of magazines and larger envelopes and i also work in the plant where is sorting of all parcels which was a little more physical than where i work now just basically sacking packages and putting them on the cart for delivery… the main thing at the post office is come do your job and go home and don’t get caught up in the drama that other people may bring definitely food money and benefits to be had it’s definitely what you make of it though but i love it… and i was also a CCA before being a mail handler so maybe you don’t like being a mail handler you can actually apply while working and switch crafts and be a carrier or clerk which is cool as well

I drove up there and signed in, did roll call, all of that kind of stuff so I knew I was supposed to be there. An hour into orientation, I was called out of the room for them to tell me I do not have an EIN so I can not attend orientation because they cannot pay me and they are sending me home. She said they should be able to schedule me for orientation this week (tomorrow), but I haven’t heard anything back yet. I’m getting anxious because I’m ready to start work! Lol it’s discouraging because I waited so long and the moment finally came and went!
I applied for MHA. I have a warehousing & package handlers experience with FedEx. I got rejected the day after I applied. Can you tell me what’s going on? They don’t tell you why you get rejected, nobody to contact etc

Usps did me dirty I was offered position on Sept 15th for mha then on Sept. 16th was offered pse clerk .I declined the MHA And accepted the pse clerk . I responded sameday did everything I was suppose to do did naci responded to all emails the same day .I receive a email 3 days later saying I didn't fill it out in the time frame I was suppose to when that's not the case I did and have proof I did everything can't seem to get help so I guess I'm gonna give up on usps .
The mail handlers at my Plant work their asses off.! And the majority are WOMEN 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 I’m sorry to say but the fellas be lazy. (not all but the majority) I wanna be honest MHA’s should get paid more. As a PSE I do Mail handler jobs & I can’t imagine doing that all night.

The distribution processing plant here where I'm located is a 24/7 operation. It has 78 truck bays and is 600.000 square feet. The building is massive.
@@Ccorbett21 is that the average size of these distribution buildings or are there bigger ones. When I drove by it…it was one massive building. It looked bigger than a football field.

I just got hired as a MHA. Today I sworn in oath. I’m excited that there are more female Mail Handler Assistants. I definitely subscribed to Miss A.K. Tour training over the next few days. I am hoping I will get forklift trained for more pay also ☺️

Im a MHA in Texas. I started a month ago. I was working 6days 10hrs shift. Last week they cut our hours now I work 5 days 10hrs shift. I love the job.
