Taking the Lord's name in vain in a Christian context generally means using Jesus as a swear word such as "Jesus Christ... Why did you do that?" when someone does something that you don't expect or annoys you. To most Christians, that I'm aware of, God/Jesus are not separate identities but one and the same.
