@@BenDover-wb6si You’ll love it, super fun little car. Gas mileage is insanely good, very practical, looks great and you get to hit Vtec (or VVTLi) all the way to 8,400rpm. I’ve kept mine stock with few some TRD mods.
Still driving its 2zz powered six-speed pontiac sib. A wonderful little motor. I beat the absolute heck out of it every time I drive it, sees redline pulls every day, and some track use. Almost 220,000 miles on it. One of the last great unknown enthusiast cars, along with its Corolla XRS cousin. Such a good motor, and the six-speed is perfectly matched to its peaky output. Several tuners offer reflashes for it that get you around 200hp/150 lb-ft, which makes the whole car come alive (and want suspension and brake upgrades to handle it)
I doubt ill ever own one again but im glad i had the pleasure! My 03 XRS even came with the factory navigation! Fancy schmancy little pocket rocket!
Thanks for the upload, I've always wondered if they covered the XRS. I love my 03'
I might get one soon😭

Toyota Matrix is very funny little car, vesratile and excellents engines
They made some of these in AWD, so cool.
Not the XRS
Not the xrs. XR 1zzfe AWD 4 spd auto only
