I'd love to go on a crystal hunting trip. Don't know where to start. It's always been a dream of mine to go to public places like this and dig. So peaceful and fun. I guess I'll start local and hunt for Fire agate in Arizona.
Hallo, You make really good videos, but you could make them with German subtitles. Please🙏🏼
Greetings from the UK! I really wish I could join you on a dig. You clearly know what you are doing and your passion is infectious. To find my own crystals to add to my therapy room would be a dream come true!
I would love traveling with you and Matrix. Finding crystals is so much fun!
Badassian! You're living my dream, dude. Good finds!
Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: A Crystal Hunter video... what a pleasure to wake up to! Hello, Bryan and Matrix! Let's go dig!!!!
Love hearing from you “old rock hound”
From Australia 🤓
That was one of my favorite rock hunting spots when I lived in Montana. Found some amazing amethyst specimens!
The large smokey and amethyst when you turn it looks like a crystal shark biting another crystal like jaws. Stunning.
Matrix with the cows 🐮 - precious!
I love Matrix, such a sweetie doggie.
I love you!! I’ve watched you years and never left a comment!! You have taught me so much!! Thank you
The one with the iridescent shine was really nice but the Smokey amethyst was awesome 💎
One of my favorite vids yet! I love the shovel dirt scatter method, especially comin back thru it after a hard rain.
Definitely going to take a trip
That last one was definitely a WHAT!!!
A good days fossicking , by the look of what you showed us Brian .
I have a few crystals , which have 'atuned' to myself , which is great . One of the larger Quartz , one day , for some reason , lit up from the inside , while it was in shade - quite a neat trick , still cannot figure out how that occurred , but a photograph , was taken of the lit Quatz , which actually shows the crystal all lit up , and not throwing light enough to create shadows . Its also got refracting , internal fractures , which i hope never break the Quartz up - its to beautifull for that to happen .
Brian you found your diamond at Crater of diamonds in Murfreesboro 3days before I found mine .28 cwt brown champagne Dec 16th 2021. Wish I was there day you found yours. I was living in Murfreesboro then, now I'm in Jackson, Minnesota
Awesome video as usual. I love it that Matrix can talk.😂
The art work at the end!!! Priceless💎💖👏
Awesome sharing, and "What" a fun Heart Shape of Crystals you're sharing in the video, LOL explore like the Crystal Collector and find it⛏💠
That looks like a great place to dig! Thanks for the great tips!
Yes, it’s super fun, if you ever get a chance, check it out, it’s way out there!
Dude there's so much cool stuff in Montana! One of these days I'm actually going to meet Nico. We've talked a lot on messenger super cool dude. I meet him thanks to you... I had to have one of those chlorite phantom crystals LOL. It may take a few years but this will definitely be on my list when I finally make it out west. Or who knows maybe sooner. I'm tryin! Rock on Bryan!
I was there 22 years ago when there was no fee and no crowds.that was the time to go
I absolutely loved this video Bryan. I liked the clear points better than the smokies but that’s just personal taste. And the clear were REALLY clear! That touch of amethyst makes that a favorite though. For $5, totally worth it. As usual, your enthusiasm and zest for what you do is infectious! Can’t wait to see you again - maybe in Arkansas when Rick makes his trip to Kentucky if I’m healed enough. That looks like a lot of hiking but clean trails. 💜💎
Yeah, they little clear ones are really fun to find also! A lot more of those there than the smoky and Amethyst, I’ve still never found a crazy good sector of Amethyst there, but have filmed some nice pieces! Such a fun place
Some of my favorite childhood memories are at Crystal Park! Thanks for sharing!
Very cool.

Sweet video!!!!
Stunning❣️ I would certainly go if I lived in the USA.
I would love to go here sometime. Give little adorable Matrix my love 🙏♥️
Wow, the knowledge you have on crystals and how to find them is truly admirable! Also, those are some wonderful crystals :3
sweet come back this summer!!
Was here just last summer and I didn’t find anything great like that 😅 good job
Fall, after a good rain is a good time to go.
@@CricketsBay went in June! Rained the first day we were there and then was slightly sticky then next.
Makes me want to go back this summer but the Arkansas diamond pits are calling this year
The pac man sound effects 😂. Looks like an Awesome place
Awesome finds!!
Great pendants
Could you sometime do a special on how it works behind the digs? If you own a mine of have a claim, been working on opening up vains, and invite people to dig over there. When they find good stuff, you have done all the big work and investments. What kind of arrangements are set up in advance? When is decided on finders keepers, how do you split up the collective finds of a group dig. What sort of different types of arrangements on who can claim keep on buy the findings are there on paid or invited pocket digs? That kind of info would be very interesting I think to those of us viewers who are not familiar with the written and I suspect many more unwritten rules of rock hounding and mining. Love your video's and great content. And love little Matrix ♥️
Gosh, that would be a great series. The arrangement varies amongst all the places the public can pay to dig. I would like to see him interview 12 or so different dig site owners from across the U.S. and find out what payment scheme each of them uses at each site, if it's the same scheme they started out with, do they offer different schemes at different times of year depending on tourist load, etc.
A bit more info about the arrangements at that specific dig at the start or the end of a video would be great. No need for a new format that way, so Bryan can keep on doing what he does best 😃
Also I AM more interested in how diggers do the split amongst themselves when they invite other diggers tot their claim. OR when they go on a group dit together, than the arrangements at public digging Enterprises.
Hey man. I ran into you yesterday at Graves Mountain and we talked briefly about Montana. I thought afterwards that I should’ve asked if you had ever been to Crystal Park. I see now that you have and found tons of good stuff! A buddy of mine turned me onto the place shortly after I moved out there. Sweet spot for sure! It was cool meeting and talking with you for a few minutes. Keep on diggin brother!
I often wonder how you keep your hands so moist and always looking smooth like you were never around the forest digging crystals?
Pocket clay is like a moisturizer
Hi, I have a question, when are you going to look for fluorite? I love fluorite.
I've heard of several Rockhounding UA-camrs mention that some mines are 'salted,' can you make a video to help the rest of us distinguish between real and artificial finds? I'm going to NC in March to do some hunting and want to be able to tell the difference. I hear there are a lot of salted mines in the smokie mountains.
Love your videos!
Matrix definitely steals the show lol!! I loved doin geological digs & prospecting. Haven't since college, but will again someday.
They would make great necklaces charms
Hey man Love your videos!
We need places like this in Australia 🇦🇺
The smoky Citrines from that locale can facet incredible magenta flashing gems
Really awesome video, Bryan!! I really want to try to make it out there this summer, if I can!! I've watched your other video for this location about a dozen times already, lol.
Hey Bryan! If I was 30 years younger I’d marry you and Matrix!!! 😍
What an inspiring loving human being you are 🦋
I’ve crawled around the ground in Central Australia collecting Black Tourmaline and Zircons.
Have been oicking up pretty rocks since I was 2 years old.
Blessings to you all.. I love watching your sense of community of fellow rock hounds. 🙏🏾💕
Man, I wish it was summer
Thank You Sir
Clasifer would help too
We’d love to see you come out to Payson Arizona to dig crystals. Come before it gets too hot!
You need to go to the Pryor mountains here in Montana. In bear canyon. Found nodules/crystals with good amount of amethyst
My daughter's birthstone in amethyst & that's what I'm hoping to find at Crystal Park in June
IDK Bryan, a Ho-Mi would be great too.
Your pup should get his own hammock for daytime naps. Being that cute is exhausting.
The last amethyst looked like a shark biting the crystal
I’m new to your channel. Your Matrix is the cutest little thing….what breed is he. I so enjoy your videos. I wanna go digg’n!
I thought you said you were getting amethyst crystals not a one of those crystals looked amethyst to me, and amethyst is my birthstone.
I have always wanted a large piece of Amethyst! Its my birthstone and has always been one of my favorite gem stones! Do you know of a reasonable priced place to get what I want? Last one I got was not amethyst someone had painted quartz was so disappointing specially as I live on a fixed income. I may be turning into a magpie with my need for shiny things!
Time approx 12:34 that could be a soul mate crystal ? Nice find !
Crystal collector I wish you would come to Alabama, search and do video.
Matrix knows the best spots to dig. 👍🍻
🤩👍👍
❤
This is on my list. What's the best time of year?? Gods jewels for his kids!
I'm going to be in Crystal Park the week of June 10 with a group of friends, one if which has been in a couple of your videos including this one. I am so hoping to find some amethyst since that's my daughter's birthstone. I'm also thinking about doing some rock hounding here in Illinois before I go to Montana
Hi❤❤
Hay if you have not been here yet go to hot springs Arkansas you can find gorges crystals
My bubble-sense is tingling.
❤❤❤❤❤
I know call me goofy but what do you do with these crystals? What are they worth? Awesome to watch!
He sells some of them in his eBay store. It's called Ultra Rocks and he linked it on this channel's About Page.
Maybe if your lucky, one day ill invite you out to our amethyst scepter deposit!
I wish you listed the dates you attended these places! So we can get an idea of weather and seasons to visit!
I'm gonna have to book a holiday to the states and take part in one of these digs, I can't find anything like this in the UK. Any rules on bringing crystals home with you on a plane ?
They need to be clean. If they're not gem quality cut stones the UK customs authorities don't care. They're considered worthless rocks. If you like fossils, there's a bunch of places to dig on the coasts of England. The words "dig ammonites UK" are a good place to start.
Amazing crystals
❤❤❤
MATRIX- WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!
Good spot I wonder if sacred sevens or ametrines could be there ?
Nice haul! Is the source off limits, or can you go dig hard rock ?
When you get down to the yellow dirt that I was in, that is the source, a hard rock has just decay, the deeper you would dig the harder it will become
This is the first video where I thought matrix was looking old.
I heard Montana and alluvial and my collecting radar went off. I was definitely thinking and hoping you might surprise us with Montana sapphire, Garnets or maybe Zircon. What's the trick to those? 🤔
👍🖐❤️
Matrix wants to know when y’all are finally going on a doggie treats dig? 😂
that would be a great idea I need to bury some treats for him!
Great idea !
You ever put heat to them?
For a bucket list trip to NY, where would you send me? My husband passed and my 2 boys were talking abt where I’d want to go to do some digging. I live in TN and I told them NY for herkimers. I hope you answer. Thanks, Lainie
Yes I’d go dig Herkimer’s! There are several locations; if you are there I’d try to go to as many as possible . It’s really according to how much you want to spend, I’ve got a few videos of the public locations there but I’m showing highlights of the dogs, it can be lots of work to only find small stuff; DDD, Mohawk, Diamond Mtn
I thought that the double terminated crystals were called Herkimer diamonds?
Herkimer diamonds are only from a certain area of New York, and they are typically double terminated, but not always
😮👍🐶👍🔮
Know any info on rock hounding in wv
What is the sound effect used at 4:15 called?
What are crystals used for?
Rehealed
Is there assessable spots for handicapped?
Comment 1
OH first
13:51 what is with him☠☠
What happened to that camping couple???
Every now that I hang out with him, they are focused more on selling I think, then doing the videos the last couple of years
Screen that material
Now go dig it properly. Whaaaaat !!
Only quartz
Original Estwing was much better, only difference from the current version was the handle design. Original was much much better ergonomically
I forgot the celebrities name you incredible but you kinda look like a mark ruffalo
I hate the fact that it looks like a minefield exploded
Yeah, but if you look at it from one perspective, it’s just a lot of people having a lot of fun times, it has a border and you cannot dig outside of that, so it keeps it in a certain area
