- We continue in the sage of the Five Nights at Freddy's series as we draw closer to the release of the FNAF movie. Five Nights at Freddy 3 is one of the most unique in the franchise as it takes a very different approach to the well known formula.
We find ourselves inside an attraction and have to look at various security cameras again. But this time there is only one animatronic that we have to look out for. Spring Trap is on the lose and moving ever so slowly towards the office. The goal in FNAF 3 is to lure the enemy away by using sound in various rooms. So you always have to figure out where the animatronic is and then start playing the sound in the room next to it to lure it further away from you.
But that of course sounds all too easy and things will go wrong while you do this. There will be power outages and that means you will have to reboot various systems which will take time and gives Spring Trap a chance to move closer towards the security office. There are also vents he can climb into which you have to seal in time, otherwise he will have straight access to your location. And finally there are also various ghosts and hallucinations happening which function as the variation of jump scares here.
I do think its a bit of a shame that there are not that many animatronics in this game, but the overall pace is way less stressful compared to the earlier two games. Its actually relatively easy to keep Spring Trap from entering your office and I even cleared the last night in one try; something that I could not do with any of the other entries.
And so even though I enjoy FNAF 3 for what it is, I do prefer the earlier two games as they just have much more going on with more animatronics and characters. However, I do think that FNAF 3 does the secret lore and minigames way better than the FNAF games before this. There is a good ending you can get and in order to get this, you have to complete various minigames each night and some are really complicated and complex. Its honestly amazing how the FNAF community discovered how to do this as you literally have to scan and click on every pixel on the screen in order to find some of the secrets. Now that is what I call dedication.
And so now that we have archived the third FNAF game I now need to take a seat and meditate....because what comes next is arguably the scariest FNAF game ever made.

My FNAF timeline
1972-1974: the fazbear pizzerias opened.
1983: Evan afton was witnessing animatronics attacking him inside his room. Michael afton accidentally kills Evan afton in Fred bears mouth.
1985: William afton kills 5 kids at Freddy Fazbear's pizzeria. Charlotte Emily was killed by William in a backlot of the pizzeria and the puppet is now controlled by her. Golden Freddy (Evan) resurrects the kids in the animatronics to get revenge on William.
1986: Elizabeth afton died after being clawed by circus baby. Michael afton was scooped by ennard but survived due to remnants from the scooper.
1987: Michael afton was investigating the incident at Freddy Fazbear's pizzeria after William killed 5 more kids only for golden Freddy (Evan) to resurrect them in toy animatronics. Jeremy was bitten by mangle and died from his injuries.
1994: Michael afton worked at Freddy Fazbear's pizzeria during 5 nights and was fired for odor and tampering with the animatronics. William afton returned to the pizzeria to destroy the animatronics but the souls were released from them and golden Freddy appeared. They chased William only for him to hide in a springbonnie suit. William afton is springlocked in a springbonnie suit. The souls of the 5 kids he killed and Evan afton were released to heaven.
2024: 30 years later a creature named springtrap has woken up and Michael afton saw on the news that William is still alive. Michael afton burns the attraction down but springtrap survives it. Michael afton meets Henry and the puppet (Charlotte Emily) in a plan to stop Williams madness and Free the souls. Henry burns the pizza place down and dies along with Michael, the puppet, and the rest of the animatronics.
2031: the events of FNAF help wanted 1 and 2, special delivery, and curse of dreadbear happened.
2034: a boy named Gregory is trapped in the pizzaplex with Freddy and plans to survive. Vanessa arrives at the pizzaplex and is no longer possessed by the entity and found Gregory and Freddy. Vanessa, Gregory, and Freddy left the pizzaplex and lived happily together. 3 months later a girl named Cassie entered the abandoned pizzaplex and was tricked by the mimic and was presumed dead until Roxy found her.

I disagree with the 1994 and 2024 parts but the rest is great. And yes I know FNAF 3 takes place 30 years after the first game.

You use the audio lure to keep Springtrap away from you, and seal vents to stop Springtrap from getting to you quicker.
If I had to choose the worst fnaf game out of the first four I’d say fnaf 3 now it’s not bad no where near close it’s just not as fun or hard as the others but I am not saying it shouldn’t exist because if it didn’t we wouldn’t know who William afton really was the upside is the mini games
