I haven't done a deep dive into FNaF3 AI yet, but I had to check that Springtrap one and that's pretty useful. There's a funny technicality too, where that isn't true for non-15-second interval movements on the Let's Player Demo on Night 4.
@@GameExploiters Also, there *is* some way that the game can phantom jumpscare you twice in a row - Markiplier noticeably experience two phantoms within two seconds.
Probably one of my most fascinating encounters from playing this game was encountering both the Shadow Freddy and Paper Plate easter eggs on the same screen. I knew that these screens were rare, but not THAT rare, so I didn't think anything of it until way later someone informed me of their respective 1/10,000 chances. Would that then make this a 1/100,000,000 (0.000001%) occurrence?? Because if so, that is genuinely absurd! Luckily, I was streaming when I had this happen. so I have this moment on record. Here is the VOD linked with the timestamp as proof: ua-cam.com/video/9PNwwkeMyYM/v-deo.htmlsi=iRNYx_5ufhbb_yTX&t=8929
The "shadow freddy" and "paperplate2" odds are rolled consecutively and are correlated. Of the 65,536 seeds, 1 allows this to happen, so the exact odds end up unfortunately only being 1/65,536.
@@SSRiles Shadow Freddy and that Paper Plate's appearance checks are right after each other when you open the cameras. Clickteam Fusion only generates 16-bit integers, and obviously the RNG function is deterministic based on the seed. So checking how many seeds happen to return 1, then 1 for the next seed, when running Random(10000), tells you how likely it is that both of them spawn at the same time. There is one (1) seed that does that, of the 65,536 seeds, and the seeds are equiprobable, so there is a 1/65,536 chance of that occurring each time you open the cameras.
Honestly, mechanically this might just be the best game. You need to strategize, make decisions if to seal the vent or reboot the camras, you leaarn to seal vents in the cameras you lead Springtrap to, the Phantoms are a distractions you need to learn to ignore, you actually USE the camera systems, you learn the layout and the textures to find the well-hidden-menace and Springtrap himself is extremely active and dangerous, as such, you need to take him completely seriously and not break your attention away unless it is absolutely NECCESARY, you even learn how to lure Springtrap around when the cameras break. Overall, the game is a game of chess against Springtrap and his demonic allies, you need to learn to counter his every move and attempt to outsmart you
When the game first came out, I bet night 6 by opening the camera and doing nothing. Springtrap never made it to my office and I didn't get any vent errors. At least now the vent errors are explained, but I still don't know why Springtrap couldn't move forward or go in a vent long enough for me to win
Since Springtrap's movement is RNG based and he can move both forward and backwards, you can theoretically win every night by doing absolutely nothing if you get lucky enough.

I don’t know why, but I got a random vent error on night 6. I got jumpscared by Freddy, I immediately rebooted the vents, but then after about 10 seconds I got a random one. Is this because I wasn’t looking at the cameras? I was trying the strategy where you let Freddy jumpscare you, they you just afk (although the strategy I have seen includes opening the cameras frequently for a moment, I didn’t do that, because I thought there can be no vent errors). Hello great video, but i have some questions regarding the reboot system, you said that it take 4-10 seconds to reboot one system alone, but how does that happens exactly? you mentioned the 1-3 random number that will be the counter begin, so if the number is 1 then we have 9 seconds till it reachs 10 seconds, right? so, how it can take 10 seconds for the reboot? or 4 seconds if the intial number is at max 3? After the random number is choosen, is it 1 second for each number added? I went into my gameplays and manualy timed some reboot of one system and found times between 5-8 seconds, never 9 or 10 seconds for one reboot, i'm so confused about the times, thank you and sorry if my english is no good.
if there’s no vent error in night 6, why should I worry to look on cameras? can’t I just stare the front of my office? no phantoms will appear (except freddy, but it’s easy to deal with him)
you'll still get a ventilation error in 20 seconds if you're sitting in the office without doing anything. if you've ever had to stare down springtrap at 5am, you might've noticed that you got a vent error way sooner you should've. this is why.

To be honest I think springtraps AI was pretty complicated, I don't know code or anything but would that be hard for him to do or?
it’s complicated to someone who didn’t make it, but all Scott really did was base whether it moves or not on a few different factors.

Awesome video, I recommend pacing a bit slower in your speaking. What you're saying is very interesting, but each point you speak so fast through them. In my opinion.
It was kinda hard. The vid was already 12 minutes long and I didnt want to make it too slow lol
@@GameExploiters you'd be surprised the time your audience would be willing to sit down and listen to you. Great video tho, cheers
