I love Terence. Been listening to his lectures for a decade now. This is the first time I've heard Terence give approval to AI management of society. I agree with him that AI's will be a more neutral and managerial influence on society than the partisan politics we have now.
I have had several extremely visionary and profound experiences with the use of lsd. I do agree with the hash mix also. Smoking hash from a chillum ceremoniously has propelled me deep I to higher dimensional realms. I once had the beatific vision on acid and hash.
I certainly agree with the Pakistani rickshaw driver. "Progress" in the West has moved away from trying to figure out what is the best path to take for our progress and turned into a blindfolded march off the edge of a cliff. It's progress for the sake of progress. If it's different from what we used to do it's good and everything we did in the past is bad. It almost appears to be some sort of contagious, fevered madness not unlike a zombie apocalypse. It's become so blind that most "progress" has led us so far that we've arrived back in the state in which we began and back to the very things the progress was meant to lead us away from. I know he speaks from a leftist point of view when speaking of politics and culture, but I don't think he's talking about what it's become because it's totally lost the plot in regards to what it needs to accomplish. It's breeding and encouraging the very ideas and behaviors it's supposed to be getting rid of.
I agree with your general sentiment. The 'Left' that still has intelligible priorities (material conditions, policy reform, power shifts, so on) has been marginalized and attacked today to the point of almost not existing. The West has totally lost the plot. It's insane to watch us just destroy ourselves, willingly, gleefully. Every warning Terrance gave about what not to do has come to pass. I listen to Terrance to expand my mind and make sense of this mess for myself and maybe the people I care about, but so far as the big story goes, it's just totally buried and I've thrown my hands up at it.
He might not have been totally joking about the nuclear weapons thing. I've had many experiences that suggest that might be part of what's going on it and it just clicked for me when I heard him say that. I don't think he was pulling it from nowhere.
I think you misunderstood. he didn't believe psychic surgery was real. he is talking about the triviality of what we think historically those ''miraculous magical rumours'' are from the perspective of a higher dimension. He is creating a metaphor for explaining the difference between dimensional modalities. Hence why he further delves in to the difference of 2d 3d description from the Edwin Abbott’s fantasy called Flatland.
To think that it's not possible is a big mistake . Once you see that everything is possible this is small potatoes lol I take it you haven't taken the third hit
i like seeing all the new ways Terence is becoming immortalized ^_^
.. heck yes! We shall immortalize till the cows come home!
this one 🎯

“It” mushrooms are a catalyst of the purpose of life
Did Jeff Goldblum ask the question at 6:00 ?!?
08:50 The Cat agreeing with Terence.
Good hearing mate! xD
Hi Trance.
.. Terence looks down from heaven, and bestows a joint unto us..
Yeah
❤
Why does it look like Willem Dafoe?
It is Terence but probably AI added a bit of Dafoe to it 😅
This guy really believed psychic surgery was real... damn lost respect for him.

Oddly enough I feel like Terence, regardless of whether he “believed” that or not, would be happy about this.
