    _______________________________________________________________
Frankincense is one of the most prized and precious essential oils due to its rich aroma and extensive health benefits. Distilled from the resin of Boswellia trees, Frankincense has been highly valued for over 5,000 years. Frankincense resin is edible and is eaten in parts of Africa to aid digestion*
Taken internally, Frankincense promotes cellular function and the health of the joints, liver, lungs, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, and urinary tract systems.* New research shows Frankincense may support a healthy immune function response and healthy brain activity.*
There are dozens of species of Boswellia trees, but only four produce true frankincense essential oil. dōTERRA uses all four of these species-carterii, frereana, sacra, and papyrifera-to produce CPTG Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade® Frankincense essential oil that’s brimming with benefits.
Used for its anti-aging benefits since antiquity, Frankincense is extremely beneficial for skin health. Add a few drops of CPTG® Frankincense to your daily moisturizer to reduce the appearance of blemishes and rejuvenate skin.
Rich in Alpha-pinene, Frankincense is emotionally calming and stabilizing. When diffused or applied topically, Frankincense oil induces feelings of peace, satisfaction, and overall wellness. It is often used during yoga. To balance mood throughout the day, apply Frankincense Touch to your pulse points.

Frankincense, often associated with the Christmas story as a gift given to Jesus, remains a gift to all of us today. Also known as “The King of Oils,” this oil provides natural remedies to everyday challenges from skin care to overall health.
We are proud to be able to source Frankincense essential oil in a way that not only benefits those who use the finished product, but those who provide the crucial care in harvesting these materials as well. Here at doTERRA, we are proud to source with love.

How long is the odor detected after rubbing it on topically? We can't tell ourselves because we get used to the odor after we've rubbed it on. Many people don't want to have a heavy scent when going to work or going out in public regardless of whether the scent is pleasant or not. Plus, not everyone likes the scent of frankincense. I'd love to rub it on my feet every morning but need to know if I'll smell for hours afterwards.

Doterra oils are the only ones that i know of to take internally...they are expensive but pure. The others are very questionable and cheaper. So always remember...you get what you pay for. Many brands are not real and not good quality...so never take them internally. Even others dont smell the same. Many people have been ripped off.....So i only use Doterra.

@@starrynight8007 unfortunately, that has been mistakenly told for a while now. It's the extract that contains the molecule responsible for a positive effect, not the oil (tisserandinstitute.org/frankincense-oil-and-cancer-in-perspective/). Also, why is everybody over-using everything? Frankincense is an endangered plant species at this point and it's partly because big brands keep lying to their consumers about over-using essential oils. Why would they do that? To make you buy another bottle sooner. The dose makes the poison. Use the oils responsibly...

This the best video I have come across on You Tube about Frankincense!
The questions people who are new to essential oils ask are: How do I use it? Can I take it internally or is it only to be used topically?
This should be said at the beginning of the video as a hook to keep the person watching!
Far too many videos on essential oils are long winded and short on content!

    • @saffron1996
      @saffron1996 4 роки тому +8

you should never take essential oils internally no matter how high the quality is. Or what plant it is from. It is dangerous to the liver and other organs, and no actual doctor would reccomend internal use (notice how he says "doTerra frankincense" and not just "boswellia frereana"). However, I do find that frankincense is good for skin a d aromatherapy purposes ONLY... and reduces scars and wrinkles and lightens the skin, and calms the nerves.

@@saffron1996DoTerra would not say to not take internally if they didn’t test them. They produce pure essential oils. I trust DoTerra. I’ve used about 50 different DoTerra essential oils for many different issues. They do work.
Many essential oil products out there are not pure therefore unsafe for ingestion and for use. Perfect example is here in Las Vegas, people were getting sick diffusing/spraying cheap essential oils bought from Walmart. It was filled with bacteria. This was a news report about a few years ago.

Drinking it is unnecessary and controversial. As long as there is conflicting stories about ingesting it, I speak firmly against it. Ingest herbs that have no controversy.
And as for the boys and girl who trstify that they ingest it regularly remember that people can say anything on the internet even though it may not be true.
