This is no exaggeration - I ordered the Naturium serum on Amazon the day this video dropped, and all the irritation and redness I’ve been fighting on my face for three months is almost gone. And I was using topical steroids at one point. Thank you so much for highlighting this ingredient!
THIS made my day!!!!!
Thank you so much for sharing 😍💙
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE it’s been really transformative for me! I’m going to try using it on a patch of body eczema I have today and see how my skin responds. But my face is looking so clear 🥰
Can I assume you have sensitive skin? I have rosecea and always scared to use a new product because my skin is so sensitive I only have to look at a product to get a reaction
@@donnajones2468 yes super sensitive with eczema. And I’m the same way - products specifically designed for people like me still often irritate my skin so I have no idea how or why I’ve had so much success with this one!
@2010Elinor thank you. Might give it a go then 😁
Jennifer Flavin Stallone had a product line in the 90’s, ( Serious Skincare) she talked about Vitamin K for the face all the time.
Thank you Penny! When I worked for MAC in the early 90s, they’re eye product was Vitamin K, a gel. It was my first introduction to Vit K.😊
I love Naturium products so I’ll try this one. I wish there was a magic topical to re-fill the hollows I have now due to age and/or the eyelash serum damage 😢Thanks again! Heading to Target now for Naturium product 🎉
Oh how I wish that for hollows too 🫤
Enjoy your Target run!! 💙💙😍
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE 😘🥳💗
@@SufferingsassafrassI use ADIPEAU…..It really does help w/ the hallows…….& I have found Dr Brandt, “ no more baggage” gel to work “ temporarily but instantly”….. hope this helps ……. (* hollows are soooooo depressing!! )
Dr Ceuracle has a vitamin k serum that is really nice and affordable (Korean brand ). The same maker of the vegan Cream kombucha Tea essence that is amazing one of my favorite skincare products.
I also have this. Its lightweight.I wish penn would answer if we can use that on the whole face before retinoids.
Yes, I like this one a lot too and my rosacea seems to respond well to it. Bonus, I don’t dislike the creator of it like Naturium. lol.
I’ll look in to this one! I absolutely LOVE the vegan kombucha from the line.
I just ordered the ampule- thank you so much for this recommendation! It looks beautiful and YES it looks like it would be great under a retinoid! 💙💙💙💙💙
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE No problem, glad I could help .
Thanks Penny. Jasons used to make a vitamin K creme and could buy on Amazon but hasn't been around for maybe 5 years. I bruise easy and had accidentally bonked my eye and brow on my closet door frame while cleaning one morning, and went to health store w a bag of ice, and they recommended that cream and I put it on and had NO BRUISE, and I had seriously whacked out and expected to get a black eye. Yes K is very good!
It’s seriously a magical topical vitamin! I used to always have Sente Vita K but it’s super hard to find and was more expensive than this one. Someone just recommended to me Dr Ceuracle vitamin K ampoule and I ordered it- looks interesting as well and gets good reviews 😍😍
Darling girl...you always have the answers for me! On my way to Vitamin K! Thanks so very much Penny. Youre the best! ❤❤
Thank you so much for your content and the constant new information you bring. I have facial and ocular rosacea and have followed the medical literature sporadically regarding findings related to ocular rosacea and there was an article recently in the ophthalmology literature about topical retinoid products that were used on the upper and lower eyelid causing/exacerbating "dry eye syndrome" and cautioning people who had dry eyes to avoid using retinoid preparations on their upper and lower eyelids. I had been using my retinoids on both because my skin tolerated it but after reading that article I have discontinued doing so. It also mentioned that Accutane (oral "Retin A") also causes marked dry lips and dry eyes for many users. Catherine
Ah! That all makes sense! I’ve had a reaction against using retinol eye cream and it’s swollen. I have dry eyes too. I also have really dry lips and hadn’t connected it with vitamin A! Thank you for sharing this info 🙏🏼
I did a deep dive on vitamin K a while back, bo broken capillaries on my cheek. At the time, there was not a credible cream available. Thank you so much for this and i will be ordering shortly! I so appreciate all the time you put into research for us!
Thank you, thank you!!!
Love your vids so much. Happy Sunday!❤❤❤
Please report back!
Broken capillaries are probably the toughest of all to treat, I hope you get some improvement!!
I am skeptical it will work on broken capillaries but I am going to give it a try it too. Mine are from a NuFace device! I have found The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension dulls down the red a bit.
@@traceytrotter9934 broken capillaries are notoriously hard- so I completely get your skepticism! I figure at $16 it’s at least not the most expensive trial 😊💙
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE Definitely ❣
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE a topical couldn’t eliminate an actual broken capillary, could it? is this more to prevent them and maybe keep the broken ones from getting worse? on another note, I am desperate to find out if my Omnilux LED could be making my hyperpigmentation worse… I don’t know if it’s melasma, or even if some of it is sebhorreic keratosis. I really want to use LED so how can I figure this out?
Yes, topical Vitamin K (and copper) are holy grails but I noticed many years ago that these products were “removed” from the market. I remember St. Ives had a phenomenal Vit K eye cream on the market many moons ago that worked fast and was so effective.
Niod has an amazing Copper serum
@@jills9504 Thanks for sharing 🫶.
Sadly copper can cause hair growth on some… by some I mean me 😭 I experienced severe hair growth on my face and neck. I stopped using it and thankfully it pretty much has stopped.
@@CharlisDailyDiary Actually the hair growth properties of copper is very interesting to know, notwithstanding your experience with it. I recall Neutrogena had a copper infused skincare line that I really like but alas…farewell to all things good. Would you mind sharing the brand you used?
I remember that St. Ives dark circle cream. it was the BEST!! I was so sad when it disappeared.
Thank you Penny. This is synchronicity at it's best. I've spent all morning researching and watching videos on you tube looking for what to buy for my dark under eye circles.
Try this combo! And please do report back. It’ll be so interesting to see if we see improvement 😁💙

💜Ordered the Naturiun 3% n Excited to add it into my routine.. Thank you Penn for yet another Great recommendation n Helpful information!✨
I've been searching for a Vitamin K serum to recommend to clients! Thank you!!
I also ordered the vitamin K Naturium. I mixed it with Adapalene very inexpensive combination and face has not been tight and shinny in a while. It looks like this after a facial. Remarkable
OMG! I am so excited to try this! I need some serious help for my under eyes! Thank you so much!
You should give Sanitas Vita K eye cream a try. They don't disclose the concentration of Vitamin K but it's the second ingredient after water. It helped diminish the blueness/darkness that i have in my inner corners.
Wow!! I need that!
That’s been my favorite and my recommendation for years. I went looking for it and didn’t see it- I thought it was discontinued!!! I’m going to go look now! Can I ask where you bought it? I think I looked on their site.

Thank you for all of your great content! I have some video topic ideas that I don't see anyone doing, but I'd love to see: rating sunscreens based on how fast and how much they dry down (for those of us that wear glasses - you know what I'm talking about!), using one mineral sunscreen to start the day but then reapplying with a different mineral sunscreen later (say if you have one you like to start the day with and one to keep in your bag), trying different setting sprays over mineral sunscreens, and definitely more videos about tinted sunscreen and foundation pairings, also the interaction of different skincare ingredients interact with hard water. Thank you again!
Thank you Penny! Hoping another affordable vitamin K cream comes out bc can't use niacinamide! I swear it's become the bane of my existence! In EVERYTHING! That cream looks amazing otherwise!😂🤣🥰
I will search/keep my eyes open!!
I'm ordering the Dr. Ceuracle one that someone mentioned, I can't use HA and it's in the Naturium brand. I think Penny said she ordered it too 😉 good luck! It can be tough finding products without that one popular ingredient that you can use 😢
I’m in the same boat. I’m allergic to niacinamide, and it feels like it’s in absolutely everything these days!
@@MaryMakesCo I know! It’s awful! 😡☹️🥴
@@whattheheck318 Is that the expensive one she mentioned?? I might have tried it, but the vitamin K ingredient she was talking about is almost at the bottom of the list so I decided against it. Good luck to you tho!🥰
ahhh. I found out vitamin K was good for dark circles about 3 years ago. The vitamin K I found was in an oil suspension. I happen to use it at night with my Rx of Retin-A just because it was oily. My skin was flawless, but I continued to struggle with dark circles. fast forward to today and I stopped using the vitamin K because I didn't like the oily texture, I haven't been consistent with my Retin-A, and my skin is looking like it's been through a lot. I'll definitely purchase this and get back on track.
It looks like they discontinued this one:(
I did find another vitamin K product from the brand Theramid- I’ll put it in the description box 💙
With old weather headed our way soon, I know that my skin becomes drier and can get irritated more easily. Vitamin K can be great for calming, redness and dark circles? Yes please! Thanks Penn. I’ll be glad to report my results!

Such great information and I just LOVE how excited you are about this!
Civant eye complex has Vitamin K. Thanks for all your great information!!
Cool, thank you!
I ordered the Naturium Vitamin K serum as soon as I saw this video and I am excited to see how it works for me… one concern I have is the Ethyl Ascorbic Acid. I wish they disclosed the percentage.
As a derivative it’s typically pretty gentle- to me it’s no where near as potent as ascorbic acid. I hope it’s good for you! 💙💙
Wow, I've been wanting to get a vitamin k so this couldn't have come at a better time for me!! I actually almost bought one last night but couldn't make up my mind. Purchased the Naturium before the video was even over.
Please keep us posted! Take pics if you can.
Lots of people in the comments here saying they’ve had great results with K (in the past) so I’m even more encouraged 😁
I love your channel Penny. Thank you for linking the articles. I perused them and noticed one of them was focused specifically on the eye area, and that said 2% Vit K. The others are focused on wounds, not specific to delicate skin on the eye area are at 1%. The Naturium link for the product states "avoid eye area". I notice the Vit K is at 3%.
I know it says to avoid the eye, I think it’s a typical disclaimer (which I understand if people want to adhere to). I’ve been using under the eyes for a while with zero issues. In fact, often I’m only putting it under my eyes with my eye cream lol
But again, totally understand following their suggestions 😊
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE Thanks Penny 🙏
Thank you, I purchased and will report back. I appreciate you!

This is so exciting! Hope for capillaries and dark circles! Yay! Is topical vitamin K a specific type? Can K2 or K4 in a liquid form (taken orally) also work topically if combined with the other key ingredients?
Thank you for this! I have to try it especially since I can tell how excited you are about it! ❤🤗
Piqued my interest, not a usual problem for me. But I swear my new Nira Pro has broken a few blood vessels, I'm gonna try this. TY Penny.
Please report back. Blood vessels/broken capillaries are the toughest to treat. Take pics bc improvement may be subtle and hard to evaluate without pics 💙💙
I will. However I just had an in office laser to treat them

Typically the Naturium Vitamin K serum isn't available in the UK. I have been using Pharmaceris N Capinon K 1% Vitamin K Cream for several years.
What a bummer. Can you get Dr Ceuracle? It’s a Korean brand. I was just recommended their vitamin K ampoule and I ordered it. It does have fragrance but otherwise looks really nice.
I know they sell it on stylvana if you’re able to order from there and wanted to try another vitamin K option 💙💙

Hi Penn., I'm a Drmtlgy addict. I just received my HPR eye cream on Friday, used it that night and the next morning I could swear my dark circles are better overnight. Is that even possible?? I just ordered the Naturium Fit K. I'll let you know. A side note - I lived on the southern Oregon coast for 30 years. Now in Anchorage, AK, 2 blocks from the grandchildren. We still have family in Oregon. Hugs from Alaska...
Ahhh the southern Oregon coast is my childhood! I lived in Medford/upper rogue then Ashland for college. We visited the coast all the time 💙
I’ve never been to anchorage, but it looks so beautiful 🤩

Awesome topic, thank you so much for sharing.😊
Thank you for being here!
How would this product play with the new copper petide cream from Naturium? Can they be used together?
It should be fine- there is a vitamin c in the naturium K but it’s a derivative so no issues there. 😁
What an amazing video. Thank you for sharing! Would the vitamin K be good to use after a professional facial procedure that may require some down time for healing to help the recovery process?
Thanks Penny! I also use copper peptides at night; is there any reason to think Vit K should be used separately from copper peptides? I know they can be finicky, just wanted your thoughts.
Yes please!
HI - Love your videos. I can't tolerate the smell of Vitamin C. What else can I use? Thanks.
New subscriber here! Very informative and I love your passion. I just have one question about using the Naturium serum for dark circles because on their website it says to avoid the eye area. Do you know why?
BTW Penny on an unrelated topic, could you maybe do a video on high frequency wands? They seem to be popular on Tiktok and I was wondering if they are any good, apparently lots of people like them... Thank you!
She has at least one video on high frequency wands.
@@db-gb5xi Thank you, I'll go have a look!
Thank you Penny, I ordered it because I have dark circles and am also dealing with red blotches on my face (possibly dermatitis). Will you be reviewing Naturium’s new multi peptide serum, and how it compares to the needleless serum?? I hope you will.
I definitely will be reviewing the new Naturium serum. It looks amazing if you ask me!!
Thank you again Penn! I got the Naturium Vit K from your vid here. It says do not get around the eye area. I didn’t know if you saw that?
They also have a Vit K eye cream and wondered how it stands up to the Dermasensa eye cream? Thank you!
I saw that….long after I’ve been using it around my eyes lol
I’ve had no issues and I’m not even sure why they say to keep away from the eye area. It’s not irritating. Probably routine caution? Not sure but I love it around my eyes 🤩😂
I've been looking for a vit. K product for so long, but they either have it in a very small concentration, or they have essential oils or other ingredients that could possibly harm my very sensitive skin... Thank you for the recommendation, Penn, you're a godsend! This year I have also got a sort of eye bag under my left eye for the first time, and it seems like it's permanent, not sure what caused it (maybe an insane amount of stress that lead to insomnia)...
And also, you're not using the BOJ eye retinoid cream? I'm using it on my entire face and so far so good...
BTW I saw some people online being happy with Dr. Idriss' depuffer cream.
Thanks for all your work and enjoy your Sunday! ❤
I do use the BOJ eye cream actually but only 2 nights a week (although I’ve been a little preoccupied with the newness of the Drmtlgy…. But I won’t stop the BOJ) It’s so potent that when I tried to use it nightly I got a little dry under the eyes.
That tube is so huge it’s definitely great for the whole face!

I got it at a store in London called “Wyse”. I think they’re online too 💙
It was last year- and it was on sale so I’m not sure it’s available 😬
I’m confused by the benefit of “decreasing vascularity”. Isn’t blood flow to the face beneficial, as it carries nutrients?
Yes of course blood flow is very important.
It’s hypervascularity that is an issue. Also, shoring up the capillary walls so that they’re less “leaky” is a benefit.
Typically we encourage blood flow and oxygenation but if there’s too much (hyper) we try to temper it. 😊
Thank you! 🎉
You’re welcome 😊
Hi Penny- I’m a little confused now though. Just last week or so you were recommending the new Dermtology eye cream and now this one. I can’t keep up 😂
Also, what about the new FDA cleared prescription Musey eye cream. Any thoughts on that product? Please advice on the two diff recommendations though if you have a moment! Thanks!
The drmtlgy eye cream is in this video though?
I recommend it in this video.
I am sharing that vitamin K seems to work well with vitamin A and might be helpful for dark circles due to hypervascularity. Because of that I’m using the vitamin K with the Drmtlgy eye cream. I’m also using it on my face and neck because I have redness there.
This naturium product is a facial product that I am using along with my eye cream (the Drmtlgy HPR most nights).
Does that help? 💙
Thank you Penn! I’m wondering if you can suggest a luxury skin corrector to use while treating broken capillaries on cheeks. I’ve tried so many things, but nothing covers it. Really appreciate your help.
Have you looked in to Sente Cysteamine? It takes a little time but it definitely works.
Also, Biologique Recherche P50 1970v is a fave luxury product too. 💙💙
Ahhhhhh just re-read.
Couple to look in to:
Dr Jart tiger grass (green to beige)
Rosalique corrector (if you’re medium or darker- it’s very green but really works!)
Erborian also has a red corrector that will cover mild redness. 💙
Thanks Penn. Just ordered the P50v1970. Would it work faster to use both? My skin is same shade as yours, but the broken capillaries are so bad my skin looks purple on my cheeks. @@PENNSMITHSKINCARE

You metioned topical vitanin A, as well ,but I don't see a reccamondation of one below, I'm a bit confused !
Do you do red light therapy nightly? Do you do that before this or after this and also, which is your favorite mask or light at the moment? Thank you.
Ok I do red light daily now but it’s not necessarily at night. It’s when ever I can fit it in (typically either morning or before bed but not middle of the day bc I have SPF on etc).
I really love the mask from HigherDose- the fit is so good, the specs are right and the price is reasonable. 😁💙
Hi Penny, thanks for this new tip! I take a Vit. K supplement daily, I wonder if one should double the dose, when doing procedures?
On another note, can I microneedle Niacinamide under my eyes, or the rest of my areas: face, neck, decollete, back of hands, etc?
So with vitamin K internally that’s a convo with a doctor (in my opinion) because it’s so personal and can affect our blood etc
Yes on needling niacinamide as long as it’s .3mm or more shallow 💙💙
You should review the brand Venn.
Hi Penny, the skin on my face is thinning with age will a moisturizer with DHEA help this? If so can you recommend one? Thanks 😊
Hi! I checked the site to order and also how to use! But it says to avoid eye area!
I think that’s a typical disclaimer….I’ve been using under the eyes for weeks now and it’s totally fine.
But completely understandable if you want to follow their recommendations! 💙💙

Thank you so much Penn… I have a beautiful friend who has broken capillaries on her arms that she is embarrassed about- mostly the redness associated with it. I would love to help her… Would you recommend the Naturium Vitamin K and their Retinaldehyde 0.5% to help with the redness?
Yes she could try that- also consider adding azelaic acid (can also be affordable).
I hope it helps. Body skin is natoriously difficult to treat!
This vitamin K serum is sold out everywhere. Is there any recommended alternative? I want to try this combo!
I asked naturium if they plan to restock and they Saud no. Why wouldn't they restock such a popular item?!? Seems weird
What would be a great under eye retinol? Please help
Can i use vitamin K serum with microneedling?
Is vitamin K ok to use with copper peptides, as well?
Hi Penn!
I’m not sure if you’ll see this but I’m hoping you do! The link for the last eye cream you show brings me to two options. I see the one you have appears to be a silver bottle. The other one they offer is a white bottle. The white bottle is the one that says it addresses puffiness I would like to purchase this for my husband as he suffers with puffiness. Can you advise as to which one I should get? I purchased the Drmtlgy one and the vitamin K from Nutrium for myself and I’m very excited as I suffer with dark circles.
Is this the one you are referring to amzn.to/3M44N1c, Dermasensa TriEffect? I have not personally used this but it looks like it would be great option!

Naturium Vitamin K serum has been on my short list forever. I may move on it now. Pretty sure you use copper peptides. My PM routine includes copper peps and retinol. I'm assuming it is perfectly fine to sandwich the K serum in between those?
It is perfectly fine, yes 😊
There is a C in the vitamin K serum but it’s a derivative so no issues there. Also, the more I study (and evolve my knowledge) on copper peptides the less I worry about the oxidative potential….but that’s a whole other video 😊😊
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE Sweet! Thanks for the advice and reply! I've been loosening up as well. :)
another great video! I am interested in using this combo for my main concern which is LOTS of crepiness and deep lines going almost downwards. Can I apply this vitamin K (under eye like you mentioned) then with my current retinaldehyde (Truology) under they eye as well? I'm hoping to not have to purchase another eye cream that specifically contains vit A.
Oh yes! If you already use Trulology retinaldehyde you are good!!
I would just watch for irritation since that vitamin A is pretty potent looking. If you’ve taken it up under the eyes with no issue then this should only be additive 💙💙
My night routine is copper peptides, dna recovery serum, then AnteAge followed by Tretinoin. Where would I use vitamin k?
How is the best way to get it all in? I don't typically use retinoids until the winter months for fear of damaging my skin when i'm outdoors without sunscreen
The Naturium vitamin k has been sold out since I saw this video and was told no plans to restock. Is there another vitamin k that you could recommend please? 😊
I have been searching but I haven't found one yet 😢 I will update this description box as soon as I find one!
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE thank you so much. 😫😊
Doesn't deliver to Canada 😢
