I'm highly critical of skincare influencers! I'm in this phase right now where I just don't see any results of many years me taking care of my skin. I'm so disappointed with creams/serums (even with tretinoin and copper peptides) and my currentbody mask is doing nothing to my skin. You are the only influencer I still watch without cringing all the time,I have an impression everyone is trying to fool us into buying expensive products so that they can become rich themselves. I hope you keep doing the good and honest work, really. ❤

AGREE!!!!!!!! IMO……99.9% of the influencers…….is to PUSH PRODUCTS…… HOWEVER, I FEEL PENNY IS FAR ABOVE THE REST……. SHE ALSO GIVES OTHER OPTIONS AND TELLS YOU NOT TO BELIEVE IN MIRACLES…. I THINK THE YOUNGER WOMEN UNDER AGE 50 WILL HAVE A FIGHTING CHANCE……..50+ will have to accept aging as a beautiful thing, but still try and look our best……🥰

Well at about age 57 I started taking serious care of my skin. I had always used to decent skin care, cleansing my skin and using vitamin C and retinol through my 40s and early 50s. But I didn’t do anything else. For those who are saying that all the skin care and devices haven’t helped them I’m really really sorry because they certainly have helped me. Every single one of them has had impact on the texture and quality of my skin, as well as laxity and tone. I am regularly complimented on my skin-which did not happen when I was young and took my skin for granted.
I’m so interested in this because my worst wrinkles are on my neck and around my mouth. And then I have some sunspots on my temple, where the sun used to hit my face through the car window. Thank you for this Penny.!!! I’m very interested.

Can you please make a comparison of different laser treatments? You have so many lasers that seem to be doing the same thing - Tixel, Fraxel, the one covered in this video. Is the mechanism behind the results the same? Also if you can shed some light on collagen production based on procedure. It seems that most treatments induce collagen production but then you have lasers that seem to improve the surface, Sculptra that adds volume etc. How is the collagen production different based on those treatment - the results are very different but it’s all to do with collagen it seems. Thank you!

My biggest fear about all skin lasers is subcutaneous facial fat loss. No matter how many times I've heard they don't reduce facial fat, I've had it happen with the Halo laser and several women I know have had similar issues with other "fat safe" lasers.
    It's a big problem.

This! No one wants to address it because it cuts into the massive profitability of these laser treatments. She said its possible to use this laser on darker skin but she didnt say they actually tested it on them. That is a red flag to me. The laser touts being a "cold laser" but it is still causing a thermal (heat) injury. Also a red flag.

You could try IPL…find a provider who would test a spot for you…I noticed a big difference within 2 treatments…I have now had 5 treatments over the past year & mine is reduced by 75%. But you have to be stealthy about sunscreen as the melasma will darken with sun exposure. Also, have you tried Ambi cream?

Penny what things at home or office , and which one is your top recommendation (aside from face lift😉) , are most effective for the sagging that is happening in our upper 40s? Nasal fold & pre-joweling- bleh ☺️
This treatment looks impressive I’m just not sure if it’s most effective for this AND bc I dont have money to play with various procedures I definitely need to choose something that definitely works for the laxity issue

I think fraxel is amazing. I think that this can do a little more than fraxel and it can do it with less potential downsides for people with darker skin.

Would this laser work for people with malsma?
I cannot do lasers because it just creates more pigment in my skin with the heat.
I have had photo facials that had fantastic results within a couple months only to have rebound hyperpigmentation come back.
Please do a follow up with the girl with melasma

    • @PENNSMITHSKINCARE
      @PENNSMITHSKINCARE  7 місяців тому +3

We are about 4 months out from case 2 (in the video) and her melasma never flared, it hasn’t rebounded at all. In fact, her skin just continues to improve over time. This is a treatment that can be done on skin with melasma.
There are precautions that are still important to take, like pretreating the skin.
Typically melasma skin will get lighter treatments and more of them versus one big treatment. This helps avoid flares too 🩷🩷

The largest area that could be searched on the website is a distance of up to 50 miles (from the zip code you enter). I'd love to know if there are any providers on the east coast. It would be great to be able to search a broader area on the website, if you can give that feedback to the company. Thanks again!

Thank you Penn! This is interesting. Can this be done under the chin and neck? I am 59 and not looking for miracles. I understand without surgical lifting, all I can do is improve the depth of lines, texture of skin and scaring and sun damage. I am happy with my age, and considering that I used to smoke, very rarly wore sunscreen. All of Surgeons I visited for consultations estimated my age as younger, that is, until I took my scarf off😂 I had major surgery when I was 32 on my teeth and jaw. My Surgeon and Orthodontist convinced me to shorten my chin, so that face would be proportionaly correct. The results were amazing. Trouble is, now I have more excess under my chin then I should. I knew that, I am ok with it.
However, if I could make a slight change to the texture, I would be fine with it.
That is why I am asking, can this procedure be used for the chin and neck?
