Great video ! Does the belt actually go into that hook/loop at 11:59 in your video ? We bought one of these last year and it has been giving us fits..and my dad says it doesn't go into the hook/ loop..thats how it was when we got it, so I always did it the same way..since my health has gone bad I can't get out there to work on it anymore and I don't want him to hurt himself trying to work on it. any information greatly appreciated ! Again I have always enjoyed your videos..alqays right on the money.
Definitely goes on the inside. It acts as a belt guide ( to keep the belt from popping off). Thanks for the compliments on the video. I really appreciate it!

Could be a few things. Usually it's a worn out and stretched belt. Worse case scenario it could be a bad spindle or pulley. I would start with the belt though, look for cracks on it.
