But ..... Isn't a better idea to start from the ground up ? Something like first HD-mesh4 , then opensceneryX , then ortho , then Airport Environment HD , then Airports , and so on ? ( i don't know the right/best way , that is why i ask this . So the best way to start expending vanilla x-plane , what the first thing to do is , etc . Not trying to be a wise ass ;-) just asking . Either way , THANK YOU SO MUCH for teaching us !

Great ! I have X-Plane 11 for over an half year now , and i have it already somewhat beautiful , but i'm sure it can be better seeing your video ! And ( for me ) it comes in a very good time , like i said i'm going to build a complete new pc ( probably a AMD Ryzen+ build in april this year ) So i have to do a fresh xplane install . I really hope that RAM prices ( i want at least 32GB ) will have dropped within those 3 months , i already have a GTX 1070ti , But i also hope that GPU prices will drop also within 3 months , so i can buy a GTX 1080ti or maybe even a Titan . Anyway THANKS for doing this serie's ! Maybe i learn something new :-)

All gateway airports are already included in your latest update of X-Plane 11. If you update to the latest version, you will have all the airports with the update.
great idea to make scenery specials . I noticed some areas hardly have any scenery at all developed for them .The other day too a flight from Tehran to Baku :) I love the Middle East because the flightplans are always simple and crisp and the region has everything : high mountains, desert , large bodies of water ..making for interesting weather conditions ( would also love scenery for OMDB and OKBK, those are very large airports and look great in default Xplane already)
Q8 - What gives? I see your video showing KDCA as a fantastic scenery. Airport details are great. Views around the airport are great. Long distance views toward the city of DC are great. So I download it from the gateway. Then when I open it in X-Plane ... not so much. The airport itself is ok, but it's mostly leggo block buildings with nowhere near the detail in your video. The area around the airport is the same old empty streets with no buildings anywhere. The distant skyline in your video is non existent. So what gives? Is this a big con? Big scam? I see your fantastic looking videos. I see your links to buy Q8 merchandise. But I don't see anything worth downloading (much less buying) from the gateway. What am I missing here? Libraries? Mesh files? Ortho photo files? The X-Plane scenery in general is totally fragmented, complex, technical, and user UNFRIENDLY. Tell me if I'm wrong. And if so, how do I get the views that you (and others) love to show us and gush about. Where are the step by step instructions? Where is the data? Why is X-Plane worth buying at all? Just saying ...

Was the scenery stock in one of the first shots when u were over London in the c172?
The airport was freeware addon, but the area near London eye is stock XP11.
