I liked many of the awards and glad to see Nolan get some recognition, but he was not the best director of the year and Inception was not even close to being the best film of the year. I wish the Kermode award for director would have gone to Dennis Villeneuve for Incendies or Derek Cianfrance for Blue Valentine.
I love how Nolan wore a tux for the Kermode Awards, what a legend.
Nolan is pure class.
I think I prefer to think he's just that suave he just goes everywhere in a suit.
I like to think that Christopher Nolan dressed up specifically for the award.

@carldpatterson Indeed, Inception was his favourite film of the year, he said so when he presented Best Director to Chris Nolan.
This awards show has more legitimacy than the Academy Awards.
He did do a top 10 of 2010,Inception won,but yeah it's kind off odd it isn't here,Maybe because the director of his favourite did get a Kermode.

It's satire on the oscars. SATIRE. It's award that makes him look like Richard Nixon. It's hardly ingratiating.
Dont agree with Inception, think its over-rated but I like a lot of Nolan's earlier work.
