Designed by BJF and built to exacting specifications in Japan by the One Control group, the Strawberry Red Overdrive is a tidy and relatively simple affair that offers everything from clean boost through to treble booster, overdrive and then on to distortion. There's also a Low Cut trim pot that lets you roll off bottom end anywhere between 19Hz and 170Hz. Sweet! The pedal is very responsive to pick and volume attack making it a dynamic and useful experience to use. Like its more aggressive brother, the Anodized Brown Distortion, it is a small but power-packed parcel of tone bliss.

Fabulous review Brett! This pedal is my favorite one which released in 2014. You use it more efficiently than me ;)

Sorry to hear about the heat... maybe you could trade some pedals you don't use for an air conditioner??? lol

Another great sounding pedal, great sounding guitar and even the flub was cool sounding. The only issue I have with mini pedals is the knobs are too hard for me to
see when on the board. Nothing looks as professional as getting on the floor with a flash light to adjust tiny knobs! Great job as always.

Siddharth Karunakaran It isn't knowing what the knobs do, but trying to make fine adjustments as it is easy to over shoot the sweet spot, but the point is well taken.

I think you can get a pedalboard light. I know I've seen one on a board before . . . if you make that many adjustments on dark stages, there's your solution!

Looks like you need some A/C! Meanwhile, snow flurries falling here in the NE USA. Stay cool!

As always, great demo and playing! It sounds as though the pedal become saggier and slower on the attack/response as you increase the gain. i.e. less "air" "glass" or presence on the high end - Does it feel that way to you? How high would you set the gain for fast lead playing? Thanks!!!
