I figured so took them 4 days to “diagnose” I honestly have zero no how when it comes to cars I just know when things are going bad not how to fix them
That intro....you improved on a good thing. The Turbo-X sounded vicious. Those aero wheels are the exact ones I've been wanting for The 9000T. I dont want to mess with adapters though, wish I could switch the whole rotor out.
Thought they stop selling Saab in the USA. Did you know that Saab made a 2stroke engine!. When I was growing up in Berkeley, Oakland, I learned how to drive in a saab 96. That was a fun car to drive.
Love the Double-y's! One of the most Saabish rims out there. A very cool play on Saab's 3 spoke quirkiness. Common spots for oil leaks on the NG 9-3's. -Oil sensor on the rear face of oil pan, pan has to be pulled to replace that o-ring. (Very common. Easy to drop the 2.0's pan, however, The V6 needs engine-pulled to fix, stupid GM...) -Valve cover gasket fails, either dumping it down the side of motor, or filling up spark plug hole with oil, gross. -Power steering pump inner seal fails, sucking oil from the engine, overfilling the pump reservoir and causing it to vent out the top, all over the area. -Vaccuum pump seals go out, same thing, engine oil ooze and sometimes oil sucked into the intake, causing smoky exhaust and cat fouling. -AC pump hose fails, leaking out the yellow AC oil, not very common on these. -Rear diff can crack if not properly maintenanced(See Saab Dr's channel for that) Anyone have any other areas they noticed on their Saabs?
I had a 2007 9-3 Aero for a few years, put 60,000 miles on it and blew out the rear main seal from pushing it too hard from upping the boost way too much lol. Really wish I could find another. If you ever wanna sell one of your cheaper ones I would be ecstatic to have a chance to buy
Satin black will make plastic and rubber look like new. Try Bowdens "Mr Black" trim restorer, it's more like a black dye and lasts about a year. After using Autoglym Trim Gel for years (which only lasted about 3 weeks) Mr Black is the way to go. Svenska is coming along nicely!
yeah, trim restorer has worked relatively well for me in the past, but sometimes the trim is too far gone (see my old cowl). hopefully this will last forever!
@@AutoAutopsy I also work on saabs and liseten to rammstein while doing so. It's usually the first I play when testing how good the speakers are in a car.
I’m kinda surprised it didn’t looked like you used any primer before you spray painted those plastic parts. I’d think it would start flaking and wearing off before long. Good luck✌️
I used Rustoleum Matte finish on mine 2 months ago. Don't recall if i did any prep work other than making sure it was clean and dry. Car is parked outside in rain, freezing temps, not affecting it.
Absolutely love you channel and have just purchased a white 2008 aero cab ttid ... have a rattle from behind dash at around 1700 rpm but sounds like.plastic behind dash and driving me crazy haha otherwise I adore the car
In your next video can you do a quick walk around of all your saabs wheels on the different cars. My Saab currently has some vauxhall wheels but they are soo messed up.
Don't know if you'll have same problem but I sprayed my trim under wipers and it was a big mistake didn't last very long at all before flaking ended up buying new trim 👎
Quick question if I may...in your experience, which is the better convertible to buy? 2002 9-3 SE or 2004 9-3 Arc? It seems that the '02 has less computers to deal with. I'd appreciate your thoughts.
I like your channel but I don't like the ricing. I mean all that non stock rims, facelift tailights to prelift 9-3, loud exhausts. I don't know, tottaly not my thing and idk why people install that. My absolute dream is to have car as close as possible to factory OEM look and feel. Like I would get it just from dealrship, amazing.

Fun video...nice to see Sara on camera for a change!
Thanks! :)
Great stuff as usual. I will be painting the cowel on my 95 now.
Great! Appreciate it
Thanks for the updates! You called the problem with my Saab a few videos ago with the key not turning. New ism installed $475 at AAA.
yikes!
you got ripped

not selling any, and definitely not cheap! shame to hear about your car :(

unfortunately I haven't yet
Ooo no

that's why it was repainted in the first place
You can use a heat gun to restore black trim
Unfortunately that only works temporarily and can cause damage to the plastic long term

the paint used was an all in one primer/paint.

Yeah, I’ve been meaning to do a full overview on my saabs! So I definitely will :)
Try to use black mate spray with texture ;)
Like a bed liner? Nahhh
Do another cool features on saab plz
there's not enough "features" left that i haven't already covered!
Ok
Why don’t use a flame on the parts? i see so many videos on UA-cam, where use this technique. I believe is better than only paint the part. Greetings.
Mostly because I don’t have torch and painting isn’t really any harder
