About the racist dog thing: Yes racist dogs are a real thing, when dogs go through traumatic experiences (mainly physical harm) they are prone to associating it with whatever they were looking at while it happened, so for example, if a dog is abused as a puppy by a black man, then that dog will develop fear/aggression towards all black people. This was actually exploited by slavers back when slavery was still legal, those dogs were called "white dogs" and are regularly beaten and chased by ether the slaves or the owners wearing black face and dressed as the slaves, so that when the dogs grew up they would chase and attack any black person they see, these dogs would then be released around the slave owner's property to stop any slaves from escaping. After slavery was abolished many of these dogs had to be put down for this reason.

I legit had a dog that was racist at first. Any person darker than white he would immediately freak out and try to get at them. We did eventually train it out of him amd he was fine.
So fun story when I was little we had this dog named casper right, I believe he was some sort of hound, got the turd as a puppy we were friends with the owners. Sweetest dog in the world from the sweetest parents. He was legitimately racist. We have no clue why but he hated any dark skinned (any where from a slightly dark tan to deep skin tones) individual, we tried for years, tried to have him trained as K9 unit (how we learned of his issue), and even hired a trainer but the best we could do was to get him not to bite. He'd growl all the time and the trainer had us muzzle him when we went anywhere with him because they could not break the habit. What makes the entire situation worse is that we had a friend who visited often that was black (on the force with dad), Casper hated him too. The turd took the treats from the friend then would continue to growl at him the entire visit. We just accepted he was a lost cause and just kept him at home (we lived in the woods a good bit from town). The other two dogs we had at the time (Thor a doberman and Flower a blue tick, I think) where perfectly normal. So we have no clue what was wrong with Casper. (this happened like 20+ years ago so it's been a hot minute.) Sorry for the random share!

So fun story when I was little we had this dog named casper right, I believe he was some sort of hound, got the turd as a puppy we were friends with the owners. Sweetest dog in the world from the sweetest parents.
He was legitimately racist. We have no clue why but he hated any dark skinned (any where from a slightly dark tan to deep skin tones) individual, we tried for years, tried to have him trained as K9 unit (how we learned of his issue), and even hired a trainer but the best we could do was to get him not to bite. He'd growl all the time and the trainer had us muzzle him when we went anywhere with him because they could not break the habit.
What makes the entire situation worse is that we had a friend who visited often that was black (on the force with dad), Casper hated him too. The turd took the treats from the friend then would continue to growl at him the entire visit. We just accepted he was a lost cause and just kept him at home (we lived in the woods a good bit from town). The other two dogs we had at the time (Thor a doberman and Flower a blue tick, I think) where perfectly normal. So we have no clue what was wrong with Casper. (this happened like 20+ years ago so it's been a hot minute.)

Dogs aren’t racist. They’re scared. Every ethnicity has different chemistry makeup of smells. White individuals, black individuals, Asian, IP, Native American, Indigenous. Not only do our bodies smell different, we wear different things depending on our culture. For example, black women have beautifully natural curly hair. It can get damaged easily, and coco butter helps with damage, smoothness, and growth. Indian individuals use a lot of amazing and prominent spices in their food. Food is such an important aspect in Indian culture. White women tend to wear more perfume and hairspray. Because of this, dogs become fearful and may think another race is a predator due to our different smells!
I like to believe that all of these ones that make me facepalm and sigh audibly are simply people being ridiculous and trying to get stuff going like this, but it is just hard to say at this point. It's either desperate attention, or mental disorders have become more accepted and common.
