- I planned to make two quilts on the same theme. This is the first quilt in this series. I will make the second quilt in a more traditional technique, but there will also be a Dream Catcher. Are you interested in seeing such an experiment?
On this quilt, I made a simple drawing and sewed it using the open appliqué technique. The border is made in the same way. My experience has shown that it is necessary to fix the drawing with quilting.

Hi! I've watched this video and I think he uses a pretty hard technique in his works. First, a sketch is developed, which is then printed on paper. Each detail is cut out separately. Since the curved lines are quite smooth, they are stitched in the usual way. (As in "Drunkard's road" block). This is a very painstaking work, but the result is amazing. I'm very thankful for your comment, because I've been nurturing the idea of sewing an improv quilt with curved lines, the production of which will be accessible to people with any sewing skills for a long time and now I'm going to do it.🌼

Олечка, в тому то і справа. Останнім часом бачу, що в мене багато ідей, але процес іноді стає нудним. Зараз ріжу десь 1000 деталей, а це багато часу. В голові вже наступні ідеї, а ще цю не порізала))) Працюю над цим. Хочу повернуті той стан, коли я не поспішаю і процес - це 100% кайф
@@oltasquilts2725 Розумію))) Але діяльність ютубера це зобов'язує. Тому що треба контент давати регулярно. А виготовлення квілта вимагає багато часу... Що мало хто розуміє. І це ти у нас швидкісна леді, що вже говорити про інших. Так що про розслаблення можеш тільки мріяти =) А ми зате милуємось, цінуємо та поважаємо.
