I'd like to thank the creator of this model railroad for sharing with the community. It's a beautiful set-up and it's obvious that many hundreds if not thousands of hours have been invested in this showpiece. Again, I thank you for sharing, as I'm also a fellow DL&W RR fan. Sincerely, Scott
Very interesting POV trip. Enjoyed the myriad of details and complex track work. Although, a bit confused by the anachronistic combinations of wooden box cars alongside a modern day NJ Transit bus, a Camaro (?) and such. It it is quite obvious that many, many hours of had work went into this layout. Yet I'd like to know why Nazi soldiers are standing on the Hoboken passenger platform . . .
They are Germans !! If you notice there is also a group of the WW2 allies in a conference and a group of WW1 leaders also present. Jim was a career Marine so you will notice a number of military vehicles along the row.

Amazing. Used to cross the Lackawanna tracks in Hoboken in the late 40s -- shortcut to school. Somehow managed to grow up anyway.
awesome video this is 1 of the best layouts I've seen on UA-cam thanks for sharing
Looks like a group a Basis saluting on the platform at the beginning.

I think those figures may be NJ State Troopers, who have that type of uniform.
