Nice car dude! I bought the same thing (only in blue) it'll hopefully be in my driveway in about a week and I'm so excited! Love the mods you've done so far, I'm hoping to do basically the same thing. Also what a beautiful drive, wish i had roads like that here
Thank You for the nice mountain drive, you have your Rex looking nice there. The next time your down my way let me know, and we can discuss both our new VB WRX 👍
Love the new wheels and stance. Looks tough now… I have the same car/colour sans mods, thinking about UEL headers to get the old skool Subie boxer sound…
@@murmsuniversalrobotics3938 Feedback so far is that you will still make gains over the stock setup, but you won’t make the same gains as EL headers. Not so bad…. Not sure about reliability though - haven’t heard anything to suggest this will be impacted by the UEL headers…. I mean all Subies used to run UEL headers for many years without any issues…
Does your new exhaust pass Australian regulations on noise ? Which state are you in ? What brand exhaust ? Does exhaust happen to have bi modal or electric sound flaps ?
I would say grab the Invidia q300, That’ll fit within the Australian regulations. NSW and the brands Invidia. No electric sound values although If that’s something you like I believe a brand Varex makes them. Appreciate your comment !
Haha! I’ve heard that before but honestly when you get to drive one it’s very much a Subaru. The over all chassis and build is so much better then older gen’s. Don’t get me wrong 1995-2008 wrx’s just hit different.
Yes but trust me in 10 years from now that convo won’t even be relevant. happens every time a new Gen releases. Everyone hates it at first but mark my words the VB will definitely be one of the more sought after WRX’s. prime example everyone HATED the stinkeye (2011-2014) but seems like everyone’s trying to get their hands on one as of recent. Seems like most already have grown to like the cladding or at least not hate it as they did when the 2022 first released

Really appreciate! and congratulations! How exciting man wish you the best with your new WRX
Loving the wheel fitment
Engine looks smooth and good midrange. Looks like it handles great too.
I’ve got the same R400 exhaust and its way louder ( VA but),

I’ve heard it with UEL headers and it’s so tempting. I’ve done a few more things since this video which I’ll be uploading soon
UEL headers might sound cool but I refuse to give up performance and reliability for cool noises.

@@riverside2096 I read that they are inefficient and add more heat on the passenger side cylinder bank than equal lengths.

seems like you like the high rpms when you're going pretty "casual"

hey, nice vid, but for POV, make sure we can see the shifting... otherwise, it feels off and like a CVT.
