Whenever people expect my wife to unilaterally decide something for our family, she says, "He's the boss, ask him." They act like they didn't hear her! People still make jokes to me about sleeping on the couch, being in the doghouse, etc. and I just tell them I don't operate that way and I'd be ashamed as a man if I did.
