- This good News Talk Show our host Timashion The Visionaire had a chance to sit down with Dr. and Pastor Voddie Baucham www.voddiebaucham.org In this show Voddie offers his insights in the area of homeschooling children. My wife and I have been looking into homeschooling our children and it was great to sit down and discuss this topic with Pastor Voddie. I pray that you all are blessed by it.
Voddie's area of emphasis is Cultural Apologetics. Whether teaching on classical apologetic issues like the validity and historicity of the Bible, or the resurrection of Christ; or teaching on biblical manhood/ womanhood, marriage and family, he helps ordinary people understand the significance of thinking and living biblically in every area of life.
Getting here NINE YEARS after this video was made and it's as relevant now as it was then. This is good stuff!
In just the first 30 seconds, Voddie lays the foundation for a successful homeschool, family, marriage, etc. He goes on at the 4:35 mark to declare a fundamental truth for a proper basis in Theology. My wife & I are so called homeschool veterans after raising our 4 over a 20 year period. We discovered Voddie so long ago. What a help he was to us.
i like this guy. helpful insight. - train the soldiers before sending them off to war. very good point. i tried to witness to kids in public school, and maybe i did. but i sure was influenced by all of that myself. the israelites enlisted in the army @ 20yrs. of age... and we enlist @ 18. and we are expected to move out before marriage and live "single" lifestyles that rouse temptation. the world thinks homeschooling is sheltering - well, it is. that is the point. we should not be ashamed of it.

Thanks for posting this. I have been a following the information put out by Dr. Bachum for a few years now. I am also a homeschooling parent going on my 5th year. I think his best lecture to date to get the best biblical perspective of education is "Children of Cesear" it will definitely make those nay saying arguments obsolite. This brother has another great book Family Driven Faith that is another great guide to family discipleship which you can impliment better through homeschooling
This video was such a blessing. It is so good to hear from someone who has truly studied God's Word in proper context. So much to glean from such wise people! :) May God be glorified through your ministries.
Wow, I'm a while out from this my sons just three, but he gave me a lot to think about. I can tell he is well educated. A true child of God too. Is he a preacher, or an evangelist? I surround myself with this kind of influence. I have one 50 something preacher friend, and two 80 something preacher friends. They had and have such rich lives, and experiences working for God. @Ejahi 5 years wow. We are going to get started late this year or first thing next year. Looking forward to it. I got the "Children of Caesar" that night and I must say it was very impressive. I've loved his preaching, but I'm confused by him calling Cesar Chavez a "mass murderer". Was that a mistake???

nice, this was so refreshing to hear two BLACK MEN talking about schooling there children in a truly godly way. That just doesn't happen.
Oh hey! Have you studied - Rimehma Homeschooling System (google it)? Ive heard some striking things about it and my m8 got great outcomes with it.

Happy Cesar Chavez day. No one accuses him of being a murderer. The pastor is confused. It’s ironic and kinda disappointing that he’s misinforming people with such a harsh accusation in the middle of a criticism of people who misinform people.
wow an educated black man! that is impressive, you hardly see that in the black community. it's rare to hear a black man that speaks and no bad language is coming out of his mouth to make his point across.
