Somethings I learned from this channel: 1. Spens ma'man! You're such a kind hardworking guy. Great job! Hope life gives you back even more than you offer. 2. Some people are just... So irresponsible, lazy and on top of it so stingy. 3. People who seem rich show less appreciation on top of denying service until offered for free. It's disgusting how they still act superior even after doing them such great favor and great job. 4. People who seem poor show more gratitude, have more heartening reactions and responses and sometimes they offer tips or even a "cola"! 😂 5. There's still good in life. ❤️
We have to be very careful to judge so quickly. I saw a baby at the door. Maybe she was a spouse of a deployed soldier and is the only adult in the home, or maybe she is going through a divorce and has depression. So many factors. If she doesn’t have family support around her, it can be very hard to maintain a yard so big.
That was perfection! I’m so happy that you are showing the world, how many great humans like you, exist, and are working hard on this planet, to improve the lives of others. You are appreciated.
I think some people struggle with showing gratitude. She had to be so happy but just couldn’t express it for some reason but that’s an entirely different conversation and youtube channel. Great job SB mowing! WE are grateful for your empathy, big heart, dedication to helping people, hard work and your comments show it!
You are an amazing human being! I wish there were more people like you, the world would be far, far better place to live. It would make my year if I had someone like you in my area. I am disabled and my neighbors call the police. I do the best that I can. There is only one who ever helps, and she is also disabled. I would try to do something for you because you would not take my money. The people you help act like they are entitled. Keep being you! 😊❤😊
I like that you noted this place had signs of long-term problems. In general, you might note with a house that maybe they hadn't mowed for a few weeks, or perhaps one that hadn't been mowed in some months or more. There are also things like not being edged for a while, or here, by sidewalk marks after edging, weeds haven taken a foot or more off the walking space, not in a long while. Whatever the people were dealing with, you set about seven hours of hustling and restoration. A very kind act as well as it improved conditions for neighbors. Thanks Spencer.
Wow, she was appreciative. She lives in a house that is actually, by the looks of it, very nice. It has all those little nooks and archways around it. Think how beautiful it would be if someone bothered to plant the flower beds around it and mulch and mow. After I saw her reaction, I wanted you to put all the stuff back.
Excellent Spencer!! Not sure if we just didn't see the entire conversation with the homeowner or not but, in my eyes she just didn't seem to excited and like she didn't want to be bothered 🤷
It's hard to make judgments of that kind. You never know what she was dealing with in general and on that day specifically. To me, she had the affect of a clinically depressed person and that's a hard thing to deal with. Who knows what happened to leave her in this house that she obviously is unable to care for the yard. Divorce? Death? Severe illness? Disability? Any number of things could have left her in this position. It's possible she has no equipment to care for it and no funds to replace it or pay for services. It's possible she's physically unable to do so. It's even possible that both are true. And it's possible that her neighbors have been unkind and made her feel bad about the situation instead of offering to help which has left her feeling guilty, inadequate, defensive and embarrassed. It doesn't mean she isn't grateful - it just means that she may not be able to process it right then and she's still in avoidance mode. I applaud you, Spencer, for ALWAYS stating in the title or description that the homeowner or occupant was grateful and satisfied, even when your footage can appear to catch something else. It just shows that kindness extends far beyond restoring the yard to restoring some faith in those who are hurting and unable to care for their lawns for whatever reason. You are never harshly judgmental and just view it as a service that you can provide. I love that. Happy New Year, Spencer! May 2023 be your best year yet! 🎉🥂🎉

Many people before have mentioned that so many of these neglected yards are corner lots. I started to notice they were correct. That adds 3 times as much for mulching. You do great work and I try to catch every episode of yours. Thanks for your hard work.

I appreciate it so much that you did all that work for free! If you had done that for me I would have cooked you a nice meal and insisted that you take a payment! I know you do it out of the goodness in your heart, but they could be more thankful to you than they are! That’s what I don’t like, is when they say thanks and close the door, like they are talking to the mailman or something. I think a lot of people feel like they are owed something, and that is what erks me most!

Just because you don’t see an outward response doesn’t mean she didn’t appreciate it. Sometimes, when people are struggling especially, it’s hard to express yourself openly.
Thank you
No it's called lazy! That lady wouldn't even take a walk around, I would have drove off the second she opened her mouth! It's called lazy and unappreciated....Why have a big yard if your'e going to just turn it into dump....Pathetic!!
Usually spencer says it’s free before they have to respond. He didn’t this time, and she’s not a sub. I would have had the same response except I would have moved my car.
BS! We have all seen tough times and don't go around and treat kind people this way. Appalling!
I understand your point but i dont that was the case here. She seemed like a shifty sketchy individual any response other than extreme gratitude is insufficient, unacceptable and reflects poorly on the character of that person.
Don't skip ads to show support to this awesome young man! Doing it for free is amazing, but for 7 hours and still for free?! Such a beautiful soul!
Plus every million view he gets $10,000. 5 million views he gets $50,000
@@snookerb6777 nah. That seems a bit too high no?
@@arturoperez3826 You’re easily deceived just like the poster who said to watch all those ads. He’s pulling high six figures easily but remember he’s ‘helping people out’. 🤣
@@snookerb6777 nah you’re way off. If he was pulling “high six figures” from YT then he’d be close to a million in profit every year
You can look up “SB Mowing Spencer net worth” and in actuality his total net worth (including all property and equipment he owns) is approximately 520,000 as of 2023, so he’s probably making low six figures (across all videos combined, not separately)
I actually watched the ad for the same reason. People are really just trying to find the negative end.
"How a person treats you says nothing about you and everything about them"
Let that sink in my friend and keep being the amazing human you are☮️🥂🙂
Somethings I learned from this channel:
5. There's still good in life. ❤️
If you stay off the internet, you'll find that life is still full of great people, all over
Great job! She didn’t seem too grateful!
The neighbors were sure happy to see this...God bless you for all you do
It looks beautiful; the homeowner responded like she was embarrassed and overwhelmed. But thank you for doing this, it looks wonderful.
Yes
Now the house looks more like part of the neighborhood instead of sticking out like a sore thumb. Great job as always Spencer.
So are her neighbors.
That would have been the case but every offer he made was shot down until he brought up free she finagled him out of free labor
Yeah, some people have difficulty opening up and saying some things, even gratitude.
Again, the corner lot curse. I’d love to know how many of these free mowing sessions are on corner lots.
Great job Spencer!
After 7 hours of very hard work, that property looks so much better. Thank you for all that you do for others.
If I were the home owner, I would have lemonade or tea waiting when you finished.
The sidewalks are especially amazing in the transformation. Great job as always!
You’re amazing! Love what you do to these yards. Some people seem unappreciative; maybe their lives are like the lawns they keep.
this lady could of careless about all of the hard work you put into her yard to make it look amazing. you did a great job.
🎉🥂🎉
@@Lucinda_Jackson Oh, brother a damn lecture. This wasn't a judgemental comment, he said she didn't SEEM that excited... And he's right, couldn't agree more. Save your speech for a time it may truly be needed, this wasn't.

Sounded judgmental to me. 🤷🏼♀️ If you didn't care for my opinion, you could just MYOB and scroll on by as I'm sure lots of others did. Im not sure why you think so, but not everyone has to agree with Jane. I may have been a little sensitive when I read that comment - I have a friend who suffers from depression and it was the holidays so she was having a very difficult time right then. I had in her in mind when I responded. You have a great day.
You are the king of the corner lot, people that live on corner lots in your town do not seem to like to keep their yards nice. I bet the neighbors appreciated you doing that way more than she seemed to. You are amazing sir, cannot wait to see what next year brings.
It surprises me how under appreciated you are sometimes. I mean it’s FREE! That lady could barely stand there long enough to thank you.
Many people before have mentioned that so many of these neglected yards are corner lots. I started to notice they were correct. That adds 3 times as much for mulching. You do great work and I try to catch every episode of yours. Thanks for your hard work.
Someday I’d like to see you offer “the Deluxe” where you do power washing too! Those sidewalks…..ugh! Great job Spenser!
I have been thinking the same thing! A lawn transformation, power washing and fresh flowers in existing flower beds and pots would be an awesome video! (Maybe you can find a couple partners who need some free advertising?? 😉
Those edges were wild. You did a beautiful job. The sidewalks look like they could use a pressure wash as well. I'm so happy for you for the amazing year you have had! I hope you continue to grow and grow. You deserve all good things. 🙂❤️
She didn't say very much about her yard! Well I think it looks awesome 👌! Great job you did, what a transformation 👏 👏👏
She said, "WE GOT IT" looks like she haven't had it in years, but awesome job.. You are amazing
You did an awesome job on that lawn! It seems like you edged 14 miles of sidewalk! She was way less appreciative than she should have been for all the hard work you did!
I pray God blesses you greatly! You're such a hard worker with attention to detail! Great job!!

She didn't seem overly appreciative! Crazy that you do such nice things like this and some people just act like it was no big deal. Lot's of time spent to make someone's life better. Glad you enjoy it! Keep up the awesome work.
Always baffled me how someone could have a beautiful corner yard with a decent house and let the yard look like crap. So much potential for a yard like that to looms amazing. You are the gatekeeper for your area, your yard should look better than everyone else's. Great work.
100% improvement!!! I would be so thankful and I would show it!! Thank you for what you do SB Mowing. You are so very kind!!
I don't like that she didn't walk around or at least show more appreciation but you did an fantastic job!!✨ 😆👍
It's possible she made a fast getaway because she was embarrassed.
