The first time I heard this magnificent song was in a trendy bar in Barcelona at night in the '80s. I asked the DJ to show me that vinyl. And the next day I went to get the album. I still play it very occasionally; the LP has other very interesting and special songs.
The cover is a drawing by the famous Charlie Rivel, stage name of the Catalan clow Josep Andreu i Lasserre (Cubelles, April 23, 1896 - Sant Pere de Ribes, July 26, 1983).

I remember listening to this with Catherine McTigue in my tiny parking lot office in Market St, Galway, in April 1986- that magical time! Cathy singing along❤
The band even had an ad in The Face (!) for this song. And proper order too; even the wankers who took the mag seriously might -might- have been moved by it too. It is a masterpiece❤
