Incirlik AB, cool! I was stationed there for six months back in the 90s for Operation Northern Watch. Amusing to see Quonset huts in the display here, I used to work out of a Quonset hut when I was there. I didn't see Tent City though, that's where all of us who were TDY/TAD were living back then. Worked for a Major that was a top notch officer in my eyes, also got to meet (then) BGEN David Deptula when the graphics card died in his office PC, had to go fix the system. I was training a young guy on PC hardware at the time (gotta remember, this was the late 90s) and while I was going over the hardware components the general walked in, we came to attention and he said "Guys, don't let me interrupt, as you were!" and grinned. Then he saw what we were doing and asked if he could sit in with us. So there the three of us were, sitting on the floor in his office with his PC in pieces while I was doing that impromptu training session. We got it back together and replaced the video card and the system came right back up. I still smile at the memory of that one little job while I was there. I remember when the Army shipped in a couple of Patriot batteries because of the SCUD missile threat in the region. Interesting times.
For me this is the best video you have ever made. Gripping suspense with the outcome in question until the very end, and a very realistic scenario at that. Always a joy to watch your creations. Keep up the great work.
Yo your videos are such good quality🔥 I have to say tho that its sometimes difficult for me to understand everything with the new comms "effect". I know it adds to the immersion and I dont dislike it! Maybe some subtitles or a bit less of the effect would help. Much thanks for the effort❤
@@LongShotChannel Ah I see. I thought they were edited in. Hopefully they add an option to turn it off then in the future. But no worries I will watch it anyways!
I came really late on this one!! You and G.S flew these F-16Cs with the utmost grace and precision! Well done bravo!!!! I really do hope you'll consider doing missions involving the Su-30(Its variants included), the J-11, J-15, and J-16. Amazing vid man truly amazing 💯💯🙏🏼🙏🏼
When I got recommended this video the "DCS World" text at the end of the title got cut off, so I thought something was going down for a few seconds lol
@pinupaviation I have... and I get it. Realism is the goal. But I'm reviewing this as a spectator.... I WANT to hear what they are saying. I spend so much time struggling to hear them that I miss things.... then it's rewind watch, rewind listen... it gets a bit old for a channel that, for-all intents and purposes, is a video game sales platform. The realism comm setting is great if your set on realism and your the pilot... but for the rest of us thousands of viewers... it's just a pain in the ass.
nice vid. But I think you need to remove the "radio effects" from the aircraft we have our Point Of View. It destroys the feeling we are inside this aircraft :)
if military aircraft are like civilian aircraft, you can hear yourself in the intercom, with the distortion, when you key up the mic. This would be accurate.
@@675Films ok, still, with the same effects we dont know who is who. So, i d really like to hear only the other guy with the radio effect. But ok, it s just my own preference.

the radio thing really makes it more immersive
And yet someone else comments that it makes it harder to understand them. I can see both sides. Fun mission overall!
To be honest I prefer him talking and making comments without that effect, ok from other plane, but from the pov aircraft not that good.
Is that ingame, srs or just edited?
It's in game, a new feature of the sim, as I understand is the way comms are now.

right off the bat, gj with gta camera and those "radio" noises, you always seem to find a little something to improve those videos from time to time
What’s that impacting the ground (bottom of screen, just right of the F-16) at approximately 4:20?
it seems that was one of those Amraam that thay did shooted and after exploding banded that missile exploded, or maybe that was the MiG's fuel tank
