  • Hey y'all! Today's video was requested by one of my subscribers and it's a PRENATAL YOGA PRACTICE. During this class, we are doing postures to calm the body, open the hips, and strengthen the pelvic floor. It's very important that throughout the practice you listen to your body and come out of any postures that are uncomfortable or don't feel good on your body. If you have a yoga block, go ahead and grab it for this practice, but if you don't, you can use a nice, thick book instead. I don't know too much about being pregnant, but I do know that yoga can calm and relax the body, hopefully contributing to a better birthing experience. If you need to take a break at any time during the class, come to a seated position or you can come back down to Puppy Pose. I hope you find this video useful and feel free to practice this video even if you aren't pregnant but are looking to open the hips or strengthen the pelvic floor.     Thank you so much for this flow Nico! There isn't a lot of prenatal yoga flows from black yogis on here, and as someone who intentionally seeks out black yogis, this was so important for me. I am in my 3rd trimester now and this flow is so good, so soothing. Thank you!

    Thank you this was very helpful and very much needed! I’ve been having a difficult time getting in tune with myself during pregnancy this is my 4th baby and I know the ropes but of course each pregnancy is different I was normally doing yoga before I got pregnant and then my mind just said nope lol 😅 I’m 19 weeks and I have been focusing on me more and trying to embrace this part of my journey it is very different but I know it’ll pay off this gave me hope!
