    You can witness and observe their discipline and determination not only just by looking at their physique but also their knowledge about the bodybuilding. They are true sportmen and professionals. Today some bodybuilders do not know half of the things these true gentlemen do. The people of the past seem to have been much better at almost anything.

    When bb'ers were natural inbetween competitions and looked healthy, look at Boyer he could pass for a regular lifter in the gym, muscular for sure but not an unhealthy grotesque monster. Ray holds more mass but is not over the top and not far above his natural limit. Mike had retired from competitive bodybuilding at this point, not sure if he still worked out.

    Look at these guys in the off season compared to today. They are obviously off or maybe on a test maintenance dose. Back then we didn't crank it up until maybe 3 months out. Then off and clean out and recover. Great times great physiques. So much better than today. But that was a different time.

    • @HEAVYDUTYCOLLEGE
      @HEAVYDUTYCOLLEGE  2 роки тому +3

      Nothing was stolen. Jones had brought them on board with promises to get them involved in all facets of his business; video production, seminars, etc. But then Jones’ interests changed. I believe he was then looking to sell his company. He wanted Rae two demonstrate a particularly heavy exercise for some business people that had showing up at the compound, and Ray refused. He was fired shortly there after. Mike left of his own accord about three weeks later. Boyer stayed on, but also left a few months after that I believe.

      @@charlesbukowski9836 Apparently he had just completed a very heavy workout and believed that what Arthur was asking him to do could have led to an injury for him. So he refused to do it on that basis. Ray didn’t consider himself to be a performing monkey who would do things at the snap of somebody’s fingers. He certainly respected Arthur, and later opened up two clinics with Arthur’s MedX machines. However, at the time, I believe both brothers had grown frustrated with the lack of direction they had been receiving as against what they were promised when they went to Nautilus.
