I’m late but whatever. The hydrogen engine is a regular v10 internal combustion engine with pistons and a crank. There’s no turbine involved. With a bit of modification we could run our cars on hydrogen now like lpg. Helpful vid btw, ty
Max Output: Solar Panel: 160Kw Wind Turbine:427Kw (Na/Space) Hydrogen Engine:5Mw Nuclear reactor:15Mw Large Reactor:300Mw Battery:12Mw Priority: Battery Solar Panel Both Reactors and Hydrogen Engine Wind Turbine (Untested but probably before/after solar panel) Feel free to SC
I am New to space engineers. Only been playing for 3 days. But I would think for a base it would be smart to have different power sources. So I would also think having a hydrogen engine (at the beginning or whatever) as a backup would be ideal. If your close to some ice
You must use a connector on your ship and another on your base. Get them close together. Search "space engineers connectors" and you're sure to find your answer! Have fun!
Any ideas on how to stop connectors from sharing power? I kinda need my rover to stay a closed circuit but it also need to connect to my miner to empty it's inventory... I could drop and collect and them connect with a lander, but those extra blocks won't really fit my miner... and I'd need other means to align... I really just need to block power transfer from the connector...
Maybe try a collector? With a sorter/connector pushing out the material. I haven’t used a collector yet, just bought the game, but that’s how it seems to work, a dump for your inv(small block/large block component transfer rule would probably be in effect). You can also toggle power to specific systems so maybe just play with it a little. Doubt you’ll get a perfect result as things seem to share power regardless, but you could find a way to bring down power consumption during the process and I think stop your batteries from collecting power as well.
Upped for the vid production and effort. Almost disliked because the game is a piece of shit. Nerding this game is useless because the numbers never make sense or there's a bug in the game that causes it to be fucked. If only it was all correct! And math in the game was right. It never was. So it probably never will be. This can be such a good game!
Here is a life hack for you just build a solar field or solar station you'll save a lot on charging time You don't even need to worry about sun position just place a hundred or so panels align with gravity
Turn off your base when you get off server. Just leave survival kit/med Bay on as well as your batteries on auto and of course the solar panels if your in space.
Man it's so soothing to listen to you speak, it being the type of accent plus the mic quality
A interaction helps with the Almighty Algorithm
Loving the tutorials. Don't see many with all the new items added.
But how do we plug things into power?

I mean yeah we could build it but storing high-density hydrogen sucks and its way less efficient.

Great video! It helped me and my friend in our world a lot, I never really got the power thing.

If memory serves i heard u can have 2 hydro engines running off of the same break of ice as the o give off. H2O
I thought I was the only one getting those crashes XD how are those not fixed yet
Combustion chambers ;)
Great stuff, needa lot help understanding the game & building properly haha, im on console, so i need me a KBM setup really 😂
How do I transfer power from my station to a ship of mine

@@dantealighieri799 thanks. Now I require a tutorial on them 😂.
Just started playing it now
Connect ship to base through connector turn ship battery from auto to recharge.
why does Hydro Engine not worth using for? It is worth it, I use it for oxygen connection ...
any for the battery box, I did try that, but 4 bars was full but the 4th green square keep flicking..

What's the priority of the wind turbine?
I knew I forgot something. I will have to talk about that when I do videos about planets
Hi is there a mod that lat you uses stones to generate power ?
0:35 What is the name of this game
Darude sandstorm
i was thinking that the hydrogen engine was the same by intent
Yeah I am on Xbox my station just ran out of power, I lost everything for the 4th time I am so done restarting
