You lost me, thats not ok! You cant be serius? Are you going too fire this up? I' not ghoing too look at this channel no more, youre not better than TRUMP, and hes way out! //C Sweden
Oh my gosh what is wrong with you? How on earth could me celebrating our nations independence trigger you like that? Here in the states we have a saying that goes, don't let the door hit..... (you can figure the rest out)
Thank you for this video. My daughter and friend went and bought a bunch of fireworks. I played with bottle rockets and Roman candles as a kid but had no idea how to safely launch fireworks. I knew I needed to do my homework. This has helped me tremendously.
11:19 Nice, finally someone who fuses AND routes the fusing properly to the side below the tube openings. Great Job! Many other pyros route their fusing directly on top of the shells which is actually not correct.
wow...you were not exaggerating...requires a pyrotechnician. Nice job...now I will have to tune in since you've taken us behind the scenes...Thank You & Happy Fourth Mike
when I was a teen ager, about 55 years ago, my uncle, (father's brother} worked for Keller Brothers fire works in western NY. On July 4th my Dad and I would go help set up displays. W used to burry a rail road tie and stand our mortar pipes on the tie and back fill around them. We had 2, 3 and 5 inch pipes on the tie. After 50 or so 5 inch shots, the recoil would push the rail road tie down about 3 inches
MIKE, thanks for letting us in on your celebration of our Country. May we never forget our Freedoms, Heritage, Pride, and the values of being an American! Best Wishes to you and your Family.
I actually am all excited about seeing the edited video on Sunday! But I'll watch it live too. I have never seen fireworks prepared. Just kids lighting "bottle rockets". That's what you get for living in NY.
It was a nice touch to hear your blasting credentials in the beginning. That took you from homeowner with a lot of fireworks to Jedi master and I’m going to now do whatever you do. It looks like a great system, thanks for sharing the advice!
Mike , yes the smaller mortar boxes can and do fall over. One year our set up was on a dock. We moved the boats which was a good move, because at one point in our show, we were dodging “ bullets “ from a sideways mortar box. No damage done but it reminded me of army basic training ....
Ty your grandma likes to scare your grandpa too. I am looking forward to your show tomorrow night. Hello Hunter. Thanks for sharing your video with us. Ed
Thanks guys for letting us all come to your show thru your channel. Our fireworks got cancelled so we are happy and excited for your show tomorrow!!!! Thanks again from you Canadian 🇨🇦 fans! 👍😃💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Even though im not a fan of phantom, i 💯 tip my hat to you sir for all the safety aspect you practice. I do a 300 shot canister shell finale with hdpe. and i also glue down all my cakes. Great job on the safety aspect.
SOUTHERN INDIANA HERE: Hi Ty! (Tell your parents to give you ear muffs tonight). Hi Archie!! Ruger and Piper...Mike/Melissa....you have a wonderful All-American family.
I really appreciate all of the expense and work you put into the 4th of July celebration. I did not know you made all the stands for the standalone fireworks. Figured you had made mortar tubes. Cannot wait for tomorrow night.
Good morning from Yukon. Here in tour town, fireworks have been band for years, only the city is allowed to do their display at city park. I think quite a bit of America have band fireworks. So sad because I love them so much, used to set them off a lot when I was a kid. We were taught common sense by our parents. Oh well. Happy 4th Mike and Melissa. God bless you and your family.
Oh my gosh I’ve used calk and liquid nails for years and never knew the rod the end was of the gun to puncture the membrane. Always wondered why they was there. I’ve always had to scramble and find a nail long enough. 🤓 this was the most informative part of the video.
You bring back memories. Here in Australia they have some serious limitations with fireworks. Even when it comes to the public shows. The Northern Territory is a bit more normal. You can actually buy them just don't take back to your home state.. Hope you all had a wonderful Independence Day.
Richard here - still incognito. looks like canon fuse I used to errrrr just play around with. burned about 3 seconds to the inch. strip the coating and rub most of the black powder out of it and it goes a lot slower, never did time that version. I was a Chemistry nut in high school and a lab asst. this was back when you could get away with a lot of shenanigans ;-} and we did. Looking forward to your fireworks show, saw last years and again the other night . WAY BETTER than anything any city run event - anywhere! Hi to Hunter and the rest of your great family. Stay safe and have a great 4th.
A great tip is to remove the paper on to because if you don't you will leave a big mess but it does have a downside it may lead to your pyro getting wet or damaged but in my experience of shooting i aways remove the top god bless i will keep you and your family and friends in my prayers
I have used the liquid nails before but now I just brick together either 2, 4, or 6 small cakes together with duct tape. They are stable and won't tump over this way. Some people tape them to stakes, but here in Central Texas it's solid rock and you can't hammer in a stake! Or sometimes I will duct tape a small cake to a bigger one, so it won't tip.
Getting the popcorn popped the drinks chilled for tomorrow night. Also getting my chair all comfortable to set back and watch the show! Plus bing 90 plus tomorrow outside here it will be nice setting in the A/C! Happy 4th and let the show begin.
I drilled some small holes in the bottom of the mortar tubes and I had about 1" or so of hydraulic cement in the bottom, so when it sets up, the cement keeps the tubes in place. The weight also keeps it from bouncing around. I used floral tape on my fuses, it's a little stretchy and waxy, so it adheres to itself well. I also used a faster fuse on the finales, as opposed to the regular fuse for the main launch.
Mike - you really go out for your 4th of July show. Know your family and friends enjoy the work you put into getting the fireworks ready. I enjoyed last year and know I will this one. Enjoy Melissa coming up behind ya too like she just did to night. Enjoy to night for tomorrow you will be working. Have a NIGHT!
Lucky you get to use the good stuff. In NY we get to play with sparklers. Like the way you set them up. Look forward to seeing the awesome show.🎆🎇🎆🎇🇺🇲🇺🇸🇺🇸
Looks like a lot of fun to be had. We in Australia, don’t have back yard fireworks anymore. They were banned many years ago . The only time we see fireworks displays is New Year’s Eve run by local council.
I love your Goldies especially that little one I miss having a doggy. I had a black lab pit named lucky who passed away three years ago at 15 1/2 almost made 16 he was a good boy.
Looking forward to it. We live in Los Angeles and have CBS Studios out the back door. They used to do a fantastic show each year and we had the best seats in town, but they stopped a couple of years ago so we are really looking forward to your show.
Mrs Melissa, it's very obvious that Ty is the light of your life. That young man is truly blessed to have you as his grandma!! I'm looking forward to the fireworks show, tomorrow night. Doesn't the gentleman that sings the National Anthem have ties to WVU?? Thanks so much Morgan's, for doing this for us.
Mike! ... I live in PC world, ... Southern Massachusetts. This video is excellent, and thank you for sharing your knowledge and your process. We can’t legally set off fireworks in our state, but it’s nice to know there are still places where folks are trusted to take on some fun while being personally responsible for the results. Looks like you really know what you are doing, are willing to mitigate some of the risk through planning and choose to celebrate in a big way. Cheers! ... BRAVO!
Mike i have 23 10 morter shot racks and we wired them all together and just lit one fuse. and this year it went off flawless for the first time. pretty awesome
Good morning Mike and Melissa, good to see you folks again this morning. Good job setting up your fireworks display 👍👍. We are going to be here tonight for your fireworks, be safe and thanks for sharing with us. Fred.
You can also put sides on the stands, then instead of gluing, you drop the cakes in and after firing you simply remove the cakes and reuse stands next year with no mess.....
I have a mound of sand that i fire cakes from. The top of the mound is flat and the sand keeps any cakes from rocking. So far it has worked great. When the top of the sand is damp it gives it extra grip.
Sitting at work 11:55am New Zealand time Saturday July 4. Melissa is an awesome Granny!. We only have those size fireworks at organized events otherwise we are restricted to sparklers (woo hoo ☹) at home. Watched your earlier video this morning trimming your tree over your house. Chipper Chick could have attached the chipper to the tractor for you. As soon as it hit the ground she could have poked it in the chipper and onto the trailer, (and double arm pumped with each branch).
This was very informative to watch & learn, knowing you were a former explosive expert in the past. Thanks for putting this out because I think alot of " amateurs " hopefully will learn from your professional experience. Stay Safe.
Melissa:. Ty is totally infatuated with you! You can see it in his eyes. Of course, that is the exact same look that I see in Mike's eyes all the time!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰 Mike:. " I have a system"..... No kidding! You and I would get along very well 😊!!! Beth and I will be watching tomorrow night! God Bless America!!! 🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
This is how Melissa practices scaring Mike. Sneak up behind Ty and scare the bajeabers out of him. Ty says I ain't scared, Mike, thanks for all the hard work. Hopefully next year there is no isolation and no rain out. Thanks also for thinking of your friends, family and neighbors health and safety. Take care and I look forward to Sat. night video.
Tomorrow night should be great. Getting more firewood and watching the Morgan's for the 1st time and than finish my night with my neighborhood here in the Pacific NW.. Happy 4th of July everyone..
You've got quite the set up there! Looking forward to celebrating Independence Day with you guys tomorrow night. Thank you so much for doing a live fireworks show for all of us. Be careful, stay safe and #GodBlessAmerica!!! #HaveADay
Thanks Mike for showing us that .Tomorrow is my youngest sons 28th birthday hope you can give him a shoot out his name is Christian Mijatovich. Its nice to see you in your element and thanks Melissa for that last minute show off lol stay a as fe tomorrow Mike and th as no you for the videos . See you Later Morgans
I wish we could do fireworks but our 2 dogs are terrified of them so we dont do anything and spend the evening with them keeping them calm as possible. Looks like a awesome setup mike!
Hey Mike, One way you could set them off is with igniter's used with the Estee engines and a switch box hooked up with a battery, you use thin wire to hook to a double screw bus bar to the switches
Nice set up. I go a step further though and wire all my fireworks into one fuse(it takes a little practice to get the timing down). This way I can light one fuse and sit back with everyone else and enjoy. My longest show one year lasted for 34 minutes. It was awesome. I am not doing anything this year so may tune in to watch yours. Hope you all have a great time. :)
Your attention to detail in everything you do is inspiring. I used to laugh when you lay the stickers just perfect when you stack the boards. Now I find myself doing the same thing.
We had a disaster a few years ago with a 200 shot firework. We placed it in a large metal pot because it was a concrete floor and we could push the spike in. The fuse had been taped to the side of the box and when we lit the fuse as it went under the tape it burned through the side of the box and the explosion blew the metal pot apart and then the remaining shots were being fired directly into the crowd! Thankfully nobody was hurt but a definite thing to check is the fuse taped to the box.
Good evening from MidMo. Your prep work is amazing! You should catch some daylight footage of the completed assembly so we can see the scale of it all. Looking even more forward to it!
Wow Mike! When I asked how you set up your fireworks I didn't expect a whole video lol! In all seriousness I like your system. I have done some similar things and now i can step it up in the future! The show you put on was GREAT! Thank you and keep up the good work!
I could never craft this on my own, but it was a very interesting and relaxing video (with the baby, birds chirping, noises of the wood and tools). Looks like you guys had a fun July 4th!

New Subscribers....If you have never seen a Mike Morgan Fireworks Show....You are in for a treat. I've seen 3 or 4 and they are AWESOME!
Can’t wait to see it. I’m Canadian but I’ll join the celebration!
MIKE, thanks for letting us in on your celebration of our Country. May we never forget our Freedoms, Heritage, Pride, and the values of being an American! Best Wishes to you and your Family.
I am glad Milissa got back in the video at the end ha ha. You go girl.

Beauty of a wife and a little blessing. 🤗 what else can a man ask for 🤗
I thank God for our freedom. 2 Corinthians 3:17. Blessings to you all! Be safe and enjoy. Jason from Indiana.

Ditto! We will be watching from Smyrna GA! Marcus from Chesapeake VA.
This year I will be watching on my TV. On the small fireworks I have used cement block to hold them upright. I like your mortar set up.

Thanks for setting up the fireworks show. Was afraid we would miss it this year. Most of all though, PLEASE be careful and don't get yourself hurt.
I still be watching your fireworks, on my 65th birthday! Thanks for the great videos both of you produce! I look forward to watching them.

Double shot of Morgans! Very informative, thanks Mike!
Can't wait. Wish i could be there for the festival.
Hope you and your family will have a great 4th of July weekend
Suggestion: Tear the tops off of the cakes. Clean-up is much easier.
This is fantastic sir! My hubby damn near set the neighbors on fire last year. That won’t be happening again!!!
awesome.. I am not doing fireworks this year.. I will watch yours on the TV. Than you sir
Holy crap!!! Will be a better show than what we have to pay for in Ontario... Pass the hat😜
was thinking the same thing , our village doesn't do that many fireworks . They do look nice over the bay tho
Looking forward to the show tomorrow. Pro tip: those caulking tubes go in the gun a lot easier if you put the back end in first. ;)
Your attention to detail in everything you do is inspiring. I used to laugh when you lay the stickers just perfect when you stack the boards. Now I find myself doing the same thing.
Thanks for the tips I will use them next year 😎👍👍
We had a disaster a few years ago with a 200 shot firework.

Looks like there is going to be a great show tomorrow night. Thanks
Can not wait to see the fireworks! Thank you for putting on the show!!
Can't Wait, I know It's going to be AWESOME !!! Stay Safe and See Y'all Tomorrow ❣❣❣
Mike that is Awsome and interesting how a Professional sets up his Fireworks!!👍👊
Good evening from MidMo. Your prep work is amazing! You should catch some daylight footage of the completed assembly so we can see the scale of it all. Looking even more forward to it!

Just got out of the pool and saw a new video from the Morgans! Great way to end the day. Everyone should have a pool, right Melissa? 😉
Thank you for sharing your process
Still baling hay and stacking it in the barn. Will be bailing more this weekend, I will try to make the show., hope to see you all.
Can't wait to see your fireworks show tomorrow night..
One tip with the 200 gram bricks... Tape 4 together. Much more stable.
We are looking forward to the light show. Be safe.
