  • It is time to wake up the old Caterpillar D7 3T cable dozer. It's been a couple years since it was last started. I've got a couple stumps to remove, and a poison ivy covered tree to push out of my way. Sit back, relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of this iconic piece of old iron put in an honest day's work even at 71 years old.
If you enjoy the video, please give it a thumbs up.

All the red oaks around my place look the same. Rotten in the middle and evertime the wind blows a little they come down. Makes good fire wood. Dont think people understand what the cat was pushing when you moved the whole tree. Them old oaks are heavy. Takes alotta muscle to move one that size.

@davidtipton7234 agreed that tree was every bit of 4 foot diameter at the stump. I was also being cautious to make sure nothing was coming over the blade. All it takes is one stick aimed just right to poke a hole in the radiator.

Got torque for days. It's all in the gearing.

Pony engine should run at another rpm for 5 mins with main engine turning over to warm cylinder head, with compression off, then start main engine. this comes from an old retired operator!

Try stumping with one of those all day. It will wear you out...

Oh yeah. I did 4 pretty large oak stumps and on massive cherry stump. My whole body was sore the next day, especially my clutch arm.
